soggy meatballs and pale pasta - literally with a veil of untasty sauce. very disappointing. there is no excuse for such a low standard.

A good place for mussels and Belgian food in this particular neighborhood. A cosy place and friendly service.

The place offers a mix of Belgian dishes and some regular French style cuisine. The portions are generous and service was good. The square in under construction so a bit hard to get here by car but if on foot it’s worth a try.

Lunched there today. Ignoring the noise and disruption caused by the renovation of Place Jordan (not the restaurants fault), this was still an average experience. My vol au vent was bland, though the pastry was lovely and light, and the frites were not crispy enough....More

We have tasted very good dishes, prepared very nice. The staff was friendly and we had a good afternoon. What I will recommend is that if you want the meat to be well cooked, you should tell them well done and not medium. Medium will...More

Having chosen "L'esprit de Sel" for its reputation and good recollection of generous brasserie food, I have been disappointed by my last visit. As a vegetarian with gluten allergy, my choice of food was limited (as expected) and hence I took 2 "entrées", first the...More
