I was in fish-mood so i ordered a haddock with smash potatoes and salad which was very tasty and fresh. I also took a bite from a friend's trout which i liked it a lot too!!! Another friend also mentioned, pretty impressed, that the meat was soft and tasty with excellent choice of salad. The white wine was sooo suitable... More

3 work colleagues wanted somewhere away from the main routes so we used Tripadvisor to select this place. Google maps hindered us a bit in the rain but we found it eventually! We had a beer or two before our food. My lobster bisque was amazing and the moules and frites in cream and garlic were superb. The bottle or... More

I discovered this place as I was walking around in search for a place to eat. I was attracted by the nice atmosphere inside with a nice brasserie setting. I was not disappointed. The hostesses were very kind, attentive and discrete. I had the traditional mussels with beer. I was simply excellent. Service was quick and very efficient.

I found the atmosphere warm and friendly, quiet but not too. The suggestions were classical, tasty, nicely served. I didn't like the huge pile of salad but that's maybe because I'm not a salad person. We had a delicious Petit Chablis. Good place to invite close friends.

I mainly go there whenever I wanna have mussels. They just have it simple with 3 different sauces, nothing fancy, but really tasty.and reasonable price. Also tried the appetizers (mixed) , nice. I also like the people there , nice and friendly.

The Greek owners offer nice French-Belgian style food, focused on seafood. Good menu, original and "honest" food, big portions, good service. The environment is a bid poor, but cosy. Do not expect that the our environment means low prices. Count on more than 120 euro for a dinner for two. But this part of Brussels is very touristic and that... More

They first give you olives and bread. The bread was quite cold, but I still ate it cause I was really hungry. Also, I ordered the moule frites and the pasta. The food was okay. Not bad, but not the kind I would dream about. I also got a beer, but found a little bug sitting inside. I told the... More

Arrived at La Boussole quite late for lunch and the mussels were finished. So we had the grilled bass and grilled bream which I must say was excellent. It will always be a good place to have a meal whenever in Brussels. The mussels are a must (according to my cousin).

Arrived at 7:30 thinking the place would be crowded but we soon learned making a reservation was very unnecessary. The best part of the meal was the waitress who was very attentive and sweet. She took our orders immediately and the food came out in a timely manner. For an appetizer we ordered the lobster bisque. For starters, it didn't... More

We got in Brussels quite late and tried to find a place to have dinner near where we were staying. Luckily La Boussole was still open. We all choose the bouillabaisse as it is not often to find this dish. Gladly we were not disappointed with our meals. We wouldn't say you absolutely need to go there when visiting Brussels... More
