For these holidays we decided to drive to Antwerp, and get some food at Hoffy's. It must have been over 20 years since the last visit, but it was worth it! Amazing Experience. We visited from the North west of Belgium and it was a delight to have such an enormous selection of delicious delicacies all with very high standards of Kashrut and hygiene. The staff were very helpful and give personal attention to each customer...without being intrusive, allowing each customer to enjoy the calm, ambient atmosphere that the Hoffman brothers provide. Would highly recommend for all, especially those that have never experienced the unique hospitality of the Jewish culture and the unique culinary experience of the Jewish religion. Kol Hakavod! What a lovely experience! The place definitely had a traditional family-owned feel. The hummus, for starters, was some of the best I’ve ever had. As for the main dishes — a customised selection of generations-old recipes — only left us wanting to come back to...try all the things we couldn’t heap onto the plate the first time! Absolutely a recommendation: the restaurant offers a wide selection of food to compile your plate to your wishes. The staff is very very friendly. This restaurant is spacious, bright colored and very clean. The location is very convenient to reach by foot from the Central...Station. I am looking forward to come back with family and friends.More

Hoffys is conveniently located just a short walk from the central train station and boasts some of the best food and the absolute best atmosphere of any restaurant I visited during my entire stay in Antwerp. Incredible selection of dishes including many that are vegetarian-friendly....The staff was not just friendly, but very warm. Just past the deli counter, the eat-in area is really beautiful and classy feeling, though still totally comfortable. Could not recommend more!! They make the hummus fresh in house—very delicious. Loved the eggplant, couscous, and had probably the best gefillte fish and latke of my life.More

Hoffy’s is a wonderful restaurant whether you keep kosher or just want to eat excellent comfort food and old world specialties. Service is attentive and friendly. The potato pancakes and gefilte fish are terrific. Chicken, meatballs, vegetables, potatoes etc etc are first rate. We had...a great dinner.More

A more unusual meal this evening. All of the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and interested to know where we come from. Bread and harissa paste, gherkins and horse radish, followed by hummus on crackers as appetisers on the house. Main course is...selected from a wide variety of dishes on a long counter then taken away for heating up to be served (there is an option of letting the chef plate up a meal for you). Also a selection of non-dairy desserts. Language is no problem, staff switched readily from Dutch to English to French and German.More

The best restaurant in Antwerpen. Friendly personnel, welcoming environment, and the food is heavenly. A place definitely not to be missed for solo travelers, couples, small and big groups as well as for families with children. It is close to the diamonds factory and to...the trains station as well.
