I love Chinese food, THE real Chinese food. This is the place to be in Antwerp! Menu is also in English, reservation suggested to be sure that you can eat. Friendly service. Go and experience this nice cuisine.

Excellent Chinese dishes. A great variety, super tasty and great value. I loved the picked cucumber and crispy chicken with sauce.You need to book a table before you go as it’s quite a small place and always full.

great food at very decent pricing

Very nice food at reasonable prices. We had the sweet & sour spareribs, dimsums, fried noodles , white rice and divine crab with ginger. taste of food was great. Place was packed and tables are very close near each other. Waiter kind. 2 drinks and the total was around 55 Euro… You can’t go wrong! Only downside/ critic : mens toilet floor is really filthy and we were there at 17:00 ( opening)

I know we're living in Covid Chaos, but that's no excuse for the utter mess I experienced on Sunday 3rd August with this place. The food (online at least) looks very impressive. So much that we phoned from Brugge prepared to make a 90 minute trip that night. "Are you open tonight?" "Yes.. " "7 pm for 2" "Yes". We arrived. Sign on door saying closed until Tuesday. I phoned the number I'd booked with that morning from outside their place. Same voice.. this time eventually screaming at me. "I haven't spoken English all day you have made mistake.. wrong restaurant... wrong number..!!" "Can't be", I said, "I am on a call back.. and your voice is the same as this morning. "I am a friend of the boss I don't know anything about booking...". Huge amount of screaming going on and, as I say, chaos. They may be going out of business. All the signs are there. No coherent online direction about when they are open or not. Pity. I hate to see potentially good restaurants (especially regional Chinese in a country with a bad rep for Chinese food) going under. But, sorry.. how dare they casually confirm a booking, and have customers travel for 90 minutes (we spent a lot on petrol etc. etc.) Well shouting woman who doesn't know that the customer is always right - You deserve to go under if that's how sloppy you are. No soup for you. Next!.

If you like Chinese food, this is a must-go place.

This restaurant serves Chinese food, Sichuan style, which is not what most other Chinese (style) restaurants outside China serve customers. Portions are just right, choices are in abundance, quality is excellent. Be prepared and look at the menu on the website BEFORE you make a reservation. Highly recommended.

Good meal for a good price

Very good restaurant, interieur wise a typical local small restaurant. Not concerning the decoration, but the culinair dishes are made very well. Consider 2023 and 2024 with a Michelin star and gastronomy magazine, this would be a good place to have a good meal for a very good price. So folks, go and enjoy your meals…

Poor hygiene and complete lack of cleanliness. Waiter is inept and rude. That this place made the Michelin listings is either a mistake or a reference to previous ownership. Two dishes did taste right but the space, floor and tables were so dirty we did not finish them. Tea and rice were of very low quality.

New favorite restaurant :-)

It was such a great experience! We were lucky to get a table by asking two hours in advance. Even though it was a Monday, the place was fully booked otherwise. The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered four starters and two main courses and loved everything! The portions are quite big (had to take some home) and really not expensive for their quality. If we're in Antwerp again, we will come back!

Authentic Chinese cuisine

I enjoyed very much my visit to this down-to-earth but very cozy little restaurant. Despite being located in an area which is not one of the most charming, Ni Shifu is worth a visit. Food is fresh, very good and portions are generous. The service is very friendly and prices are affordable.

This small busy restaurant is great. i came here 4 years ago and left a glowing review. Determined to see if it was still as good ,I was not disappointed. Lunch for one .takes a little time to arrive. Surprise ,surprise , that's because they are cooking it for you ! The food here has not been stewing in a Bain Marie. once again wonderful meal and good value given the quality. delighted to see its now "bib gourmand" in Michelin. Well deserved. Seek it out ,you will be glad you did.

Wouldn’t accept solo dining 🤨

Wouldn’t accept solo dining - to be fair; there was a wait as the couple in front of me were told half hour wait for a table. They decided to go somewhere else … then he turned to me and asked for how many people. I said just myself and then he said “no no, there’s two hour wait. I’m not one to leave reviews but this is the second time this has happened to me now … and also the last time”. Regardless of how good this place appears to be, I shouldn’t be getting told that rubbish. I’d have rather have been told the truth and went on with my day”.

Great food

Fantastic food in a very unassuming restaurant. I have not had such great food since Chinatown in Melbourne/Box Hill. Will recommend it to anyone.
