Netter Besitzer, gute Pommes. Die grumpy alte Dame darf man gerne hinnehmen. I'd be grateful if you'd become the first climate neutral Frituur of Belgium ;) Energy is no problem, and the organic french fries you can compensate. Would appreciate it a lot!

On reading this site ... I was looking forward to seeing THE fire breathing dragon of a woman in action. The fries were good - very good in fact. However the location of this Frituur on the main tourist drag means some of the clientelle are bemused tourists who quickly turn into idiots. The lady takes no prisoners ... she... More

Rude manner, not welcoming at all. Don't go unless you wanna get scolded. We were only looking at the menu and the owner asked us to leave.

Going to a frituur, you definitely know what to expect. Have only tried the fries there and they are very delicious, crancy and never disappointing. You can choose out of a big variety of dressings/toppings at an extra cost. Sitting area both inside & outside Personally I enjoy my fries without sauce but just some salt. Perfect in taste! Try them... More

She speaks poor English that I can't listen clearly. But she kept speaking in a very rude manner of a tone I can't understand at all (she pronounced salt as "sout". Thanks to some passer-by translating to me. When leaving, she yelled that I should clean up the table by myself. Hey come on ....... how could I know that's... More

I would recommend this as a great place to sample some good Belgium chips at a reasonable price. Comes with plenty of choices of sauces to go with it. Would definitely go again for a snack but not the place to go for a meal.

When in Antwerp, you just can't leave without having the "Vlaamse Frieten” from Frietkot Max. These are absolutely the best! Definitely for me. The fries are made of quality potatoes, tall and thick like they supposed to be. You can choose from a variety of Belgian sauces (+ 70 cents). The Andalouse sauce is one of my favorites. Add some... Got this place recommended by a friend to try Belgian fries and curryworst. Nice location, good staff. Fries were good, the curryworst alright. Good food, but nothing special.

Fries are not special in any way, especially compared to the price, but the worst is the unfriendly woman behind the counter. Go somewhere else, stay away from this place!

It small, crowded and popular with a prime tourist location. If you come to Belgium to try those famous fries, this is the spot to do it! I give props to the guy working the register and frying the fries. With lines of tourists it would be easy to be rude & nasty, but he was friendly, funny and kept... More
