i have been here a few times but i want to go here more. The food is delicious ( i had a pizza) and the people who work here are very friendly and polite.
The view here is extraordinary beautiful because you can see the Schelde. The interior makes you believe as if you are on the beach which is very relaxing. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone that visits Antwerp.

Nice chilled set up both for day and night. Cocktails are ok. Good music. Service is what you would expect from such a large place. Lively. Nice views. 👍

Nice place to relax on a sandy artificial beach (strandbar) alone or with friends. Fine drinks and snacks. Excellent for a sunny afternoon after a shopping morning.

We visited this place on September the 2th and the waitress told us that this was the last day of the season. But despite it was a little quiet we enjoyed the sun en the feeling at sitting at a beach club.
Next time when we are in Antwerp in the summer we will definitely visit this place again.

Its really great to feel yourself in an mediterenean seaside , with being in bocadero. Even you cant swim in the lake it offers you shower and sand;) which are very rare to find in antwerpcity. The prices are fine, the view is great, the people are also motivates to enjoy and relax. İts a very good option to go spend time after 18:00-19:00 till late night ;)

Wine and cava are not good.
I heard so much about this place. Nice setup but cheap quality. Nachos as a little snach with drinks was bad.

A very nice location next to the Schelde and thanks to the buildings at the back, it gets a feeling of being cut off the city. It also offers a broad range of bars and restaurants, so I'm sure everybody will find something to his liking. Try to have a reservation before you come, it can be crowdy.

Worst restaurant experience in my life. I ve been to some expensive restaurant but the food was worth it.
Here ....you have low average food in small quantity for a high price.
For example a plate with a sample of houmous, carotts, taboule for 17,80e !!!!
After that experience I really wonder who goes to eat there.
One thing is sure ...I will never set a foot in that place again. NEVER !

One sits there watching the sunset with the feeling of being in a (very) nice beach bar somewhere in the Caribbean. Big selection of drinks, wines & cocktails, good music, fun crowd...

The layout of the bar is great with a man made beach area that gives a real holiday feel to it!! The music was fantastic and the drinks selection is very wide but rather expensive

One of the best and trendy places to hang out in summer. Great atmosphere. Though it can be very crowded sometimes, the holiday at the beach feeling never fades away. Enjoy drinks, beer, wine and food. Try one of the popup restaurants along the border of the river. You'll be amazed by the beautiful sunset scenery.

A nice temporary initiative on the shore of the schelde that is designed for hipsters. Hip and trendy drinks (not the drinks you can find in your average pub), a sandy beach, some loungy music. Possibilities to grab a bite (different cuisines). And parking space is very nearby and at a good rate. Recommended!

Bocadero is lovely to visit with friends, however, the staff is lazy and unfriendly. Even when it's not busy, you have to wait way to long for your drink. It's a shame because the location is wonderful, but they should really to something about their bar tenders.
