This particular gauchos restaurant is my favorite in Rotterdam. It's next to a lake which makes for better scenery than the center of the city. It can easily be reached by car and parking is not a problem. The food is wonderful and so is the staff. The atmosphere is exactly right for a steakhouse. I love taking my family-in-law... More
We ate here after the Rotterdam Marathon. Must of us chose the all you can eat of spareribs option. We were all very satisfied with the experience. No doubt the best restaurant I've been to in Rotterdam when it comes to location, service and food (meat). Only drawback is the quite noise atmosphere, but that's a minor detail...
Delicious food well prepared. Truly the best meat you can get in the Netherlands: the lomo is so much more refer then what you get in many other places. Well prepared and the check can cook beef exactly how you want it. French fries and side dishes also all very good. Nice and attentive service and make sure you ask... More
The meat was good as expected. The quality of the rest of the food is average. Red wine was served too cold: when we said something about it, they only come with excuses. Number 1 rule: Never argue with a customer. Try to win the argument and you might have lost a customer!
Went here for a busniess dinner. Staff was friendly and helpfull but some mistakes were made. First a drink was forgotten and later my guest told he was allergic to wheat beer, and what did he get.... wheat beer. This might be because of the language differnece. And it was all sorted very quickly. Now to the important part: the... More
Unless you dine late like I do (21:30) you might want to make a reservation two days before in the weekends. Especially in summer months , the terrace with lake view is fully booked. Conveniently located winebar attached to it . As fas as the food . It's a Gaucho , you know what you get and its pretty good.
At Hillegersberg's lake this Argentinian restaurant is truly worthwhile the experience. Excellent steak, chimchurry that go down well with a nice Malbec. Kitchen is never a disappointment. Just make sure you make a reservation, otherwise you will not get in!
We chose this restaurant based on reviews on among others Tripadvisor. Having experienced the Argentinian grilled meat, we were exited and had high expectations. The venue itself was great and we were welcomed very kindly by the restaurant staff. The menu choice was great as was the explanation of the meat. We ordered among others the the rib-eye and a... More
