Very cozy restaurant with friendly staff and live music! The food was ok, the atmosphere good and staff perfect! Vaulted ceiling in the basement gives a very nice ambiance. Good value for money.

Me and my wife had a fine diner in a cave like restaurant, that was crowded with young people (we are not that young anymore ...). The Palmensteyn steak was very well made, just like the Chocolade truffel. Wine was good (we drank several glasses)....More
Decent alt band on a quiet Sunday night. Loved the barrel vaulted, brick walls and ceiling....just drips with ambience. Would love to check it out when it rocks with a full house. Decent service, reasonably priced drinks, great location.

I know this is a well known music venue, but we went at lunchtime so I can't comment. Atmospheric warren of underground rooms with outside tables by the canal. Some interesting snack options as well as the usual drinks menu; try the ice fondue!
My band performed here in January 2015 - a great experience. A wonderful owner and manager who looked after us. A great space and an intimate venue with excellent sound. Unfortunately we didnt get to try the food but it looked and smelt incredible. Hope...More
