...after seeing mixed reviews about staff on TA. Have to say there was one surly waiter who barked that we couldn’t have a glass of tap water with our meal despite spending €100 plus on food/ drink (thought it was law in EU?). Shame, because the other waiters were great and the ordering system fantastic, as was all of the food we ate. Shame.....

We ordered the all you can eat dinner menu. The food came out very quickly after we ordered it on the tablet given to us to order from and it was all really good quality.
It was quite a pricey meal especially when you get drinks on top of the all you can eat menu, but for the food, the views over Amsterdam and the quality of the food, it was worth it if you are willing to spend a little more.
The only down side to it all was that we didn’t realise that when we ordered dessert they took away our tablet and we weren’t quite finished ordering - just because personally I like to have sweet and then go back to savoury.
Other than this it was a really fun experience with good food!

We sat down to a meal of 4, just at the start of evening service on New Years day. The food couldn't be faulted, everything was fresh, tasty and the app process of ordering was fairly simple. The restaurant was fairly full, but the air conditioning made the room extremely cold, to the point we had our jackets back on halfway through the meal.
Where the issues lay was the staff. We'd arrived before dinner service, around 4, told with a lot of hostility that no food would be served, whilst all that was cared about was trying to sell us drinks. We waited until service began, where food came relatively quick when ordered, but food was dumped on your table, no care given.
As we tried to order just tap water, we were told you cant have anymore, having only had 2 servings each, and being at the restaurant an hour early and having to wait all that time. When we were told this the waiter was extremely rude, saying its not her job and claiming we must pay 6Euro for water, after a very expensive meal. She left in a very hostile manner and really ruined our night. Family had visited before and recommended, but we wont be recommending to anyone else.

Zero appreciation for clients
I went there with my son for a special lunch and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The music was awful and loud but the person whom I assume was the manager refused to lower it, insisting it had to stay at that volume in case other clients would come. So we obviously were less important than the future ones supposedly coming - which indeed happened half an hour later. Quite a long time for a short lunch and which leads me to conclude that this restaurant has zero appreciation for its clients. Sushis were very nice but it will be the last time I go there. It was meant to be a very special lunch and it was very disappointing. No excuses either from them when we left. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Only worth it is the bentobox. Don't get fooled at the all you can eat option which is more expensive and has time and quantity restrictions, and can be utilised online only by ordering dishes in time sets ( you cannot order the next set until some time has passed and you need to be quick! Not a relaxed way to eat). The staff could not explain the different order options properly, due to very poor English and they brought the menu with the bentobox only after we specifically asked for it. This option is not offered for dinner. It sounds like a tourist trap.

A lot of mixed reviews about this place over various websites, but didn’t let that stop us, the truth is is that this place is actually really great! If you’ve been to a 5* sushi restaurant and are comparing it to that then yes, you may have some discrepancies, but the food was pretty damn incredible considering, amazing view from the restaurant, really hip interior, loved the tablet based ordering system (particularly great for introverts), very decently priced especially for Amsterdam, would say alcoholic drinks are a little expensive, so if you’re on a budget I’d say stick to the food.
Also wanted to say thank you to the lovely staff who are clearly doing their best to keep things quick and consistent for every patron.
Overall I’ve not stopped thinking about this place since I left lol, been to Amsterdam a few times now and MoJo definitely sticks out to me, highly highly recommend!

The food at Mo-Jo was delicious and came out fast. (One dish, the duck skewers, were not good and overcooked). The staff were very friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant was awesome. Definitely recommend Mo-Jo for sushi.

We had an appointment at the club at 9pm. Once we arrived, we discovered that the kitchen would close after about 30 minutes and that they would not be able to offer us the all you can eat service in an unwelcoming manner.
The thing that annoyed us was that we only discovered the lack of ayce once we were seated because no communication was given to us at the time of booking.
Prices high but in line with the city, quality average but certainly not excellent. Rather questionable service!

A nice setting close to the river in Central Amsterdam. Lift to restaurant.Disabled friendly with accessible toilets on ground floor and the food was fabulous. Japanese cuisine in tapas style all you can eat for a set price . The price for a weekend dinner was €38 per person and it was good value because of the quality of the dishes. You get quality and quantity! The best in Amsterdam for that type of dining.

We had a nice evening among friends. The food was excellent, service fast and friendly. What else can you wish.. oh yes, the view was magnificent, too! Other guests seemed to come as bigger groups celebrating birthdays etc, so it is not for the people who want to have peace and quiet.

Good variety! and truly all you can eat! Unlike places like Sumo where you actually have a limit. Not Mojo!
However could do with more selection in seafood such as hamachi, mekajiki, soft shell crab, squid and clams, and less of skewers which all tasted quite average, and sometimes dry. Should consider adding basic japanese side dishes such as Chuka iddako, kurage etc.
Otherwise, definitely recommended, especially if you can eat a lot!

We made a reservation at twelve since that was the only option on their website. So we arrive at twelve only to hear that the restaurant opens at one. Not only the fact that they made a mistake but also the way they spoke to us was so rude and customer unfriendly. We went to Sumo instead which was only 15 minutes from Mo-Jo which I can recommend since they had perfect service and friendly staff.

A confusing place for the 'old generation' because it is practically impossible to order if you don't have a smartphone. The dishes come out of the kitchen on robot trolleys.
Once the adaptation is made, the dishes come quickly and the cuisine is delicious. You have to eat at least a dozen dishes to satisfy the two of you.
The only unfortunate thing is that the staff is visibly poorly trained; I asked if it was possible to have wine by the glass and the waiter had to go and find out
