De Luwte was recommended to us by the Pulitzer Hotel. It was an easy walk from the hotel to this small gem. We had a wonderful waitress and fabulous food! We had the steak for 2 which was wonderful -- not too much or too little. It was a lovely night!

Tasty food, small variety but unique tastes and combinations. The meat was not as soft as we expected it to be. The room was a little smelly too.

We came to celebrate New Years with a nice dinner in an relaxing environment where we didn't have to be worried about anything, except eating and drinking of course! Well, we were wrong. Upon arrival, we were told our coats couldn't be taken because the room was too full... okay, but then let us set them somewhere else that wouldn't... More

We were recommended this place by the wonderful Owen at the Canal House...but we arrived very late. The charming waitress told us that the chef was about to leave, but she'd see what could be done. The gentleman actually came out to point out that he could only offer a limited choice, but that he'd be happy to cook for... More

Restaurant was recommending the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the restaurant, which runs on 3 service staff (doubling up at the bar and cashier), and 3 kitchen staff/chefs. The food is excellent and service very good. It's popular with locals, so you should make a reservation in advance.

Main course arrived over an hour after we arrived. It was a Sunday evening, not overly busy and we had not booked. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but slow. Expensive compared to other places, we shared a starter, no desserts, glass of cava then one glass wine 80e.

Our hotel recommended it and it was we'll worth the visit. The two rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. we had the specials main courses, fish and deer, something I'd never tried before! It was a little undercooked for my test, but the chef gave it a few more minutes and it was delicious. The staff are friendly and it... More

de Luwte restaurant is very centrally located. The menu is very interesting and all dishes we ordered had an excellent presentation. Personally, I opted for the grilled scallops and Dutch tenderloin steak which were both very good. There was also a good selection of wine and the service was courteous. The restaurant has a serene ambiance with the light from... More
