As usual we had to wait for the table. But as always it was worth to. I ordered stew beef and it was so delicate and well seasoned! My daughter took vege dish and it was also delicious. Thanks and see you next time.

We were there in an early evening on a Sunday. Restaurant was busy - a mix of locals and tourists. I'd guess heavy on the tourists. Waiter who greeted us and served us was very friendly and helpful, from the moment he offered to hang...More

Little bit further from the city center, but well worth it for some Dutch Food. Coming into the restaurant, you will notice the atmosphere. The walls are filled with pictures of mothers. Apparently, you can bring a picture of your mother and it can be...More

We had heard a lot about this restaurant but never had the chance to go. The weather was cold and dreary which was perfect for some Dutch comfort food. We ended up sharing “rice pan” which was delicious and plenty of food. What a great...More

Small. Quaint restaurant. Very busy. No reservations. Worth the wait. Great onion soup. Heat stew with red cabbage, potatoes both roasted and bolied a chunky apple sauce to go with the bacon and sausage. Excellent meal. Also ribs are on the menu.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
