Service, food and ambience all brilliantly judged. If I could award a sixth star I would. The menu was creative and delicious. This is not fast food, it is food to savour. Treat yourself to a good bottle of wine and relax in a gastronomic...More

We were brought to Toscanini by a local who told us it was his favorite Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. We were NOT disappointed. Our waiter was great and we put ourselves in his hands and he was spot on with 3 incredible courses. Ravioli with...More

As a new expat resident of Amsterdam, and residing 5 min from Toscanini, I've been wanting to dine there for quite some time. What a disappointment!! Mediocre food, and terribly slow service. The experience was similar to a 3 hour root canal. We ordered the...More

This popular Italian restaurant w/ open kitchen has been around for years and is located in the picturesque and charming neighborhood of the Jordaan in central Amsterdam. We reserved two months in advance as the place gets quite busy on weekends as we found out...More

I finally was able to book a table and much to my regret dinner did not meet my expectations and the reviews i read in the past. Starters were great, fish disappointing and deserts very simple. Service very attentive, but Toscanini is not special anymore

This was a special meal for me and my parents. The space and the food were beautiful but it was ruined by the very poor service. When we were ordering out food, my mother asked how the lamb was cooked (the special of the day)....More

After travelling to Italy I find I have become spoiled and expect a lot from italian restaurants. This place wasn't outstanding but was quite good. We split the raviloi to start and it was nothing too special. I had a cod special which was delicious....More

This is a very nice restaurant with proper Italian food. The bread is great, but served modestly. The kitchen is open and quiet, no shouting, very organized. The dishes are all great. We will go again definitely.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
