From the inside it looks like an Italian restaurant from the 50ties either in Italy itself or in New York . There is a very lively atmosphere and it is the place to 'be seen' ; obviously reservations during the weekends are a must ....More

This is our second time here, and we were equally pleased with the chef’s tasting menu (55 euros/ person) and the staff who served it. Begin with an “amuse bouche” and continue through the 5 course meal including fish, pasta, incredibly seasoned sliced fillet mignon...More

Went as a family of 5 (older children) and had the most delicious meal, more of that later! The building in the Jordan area had an archway over the entrance. There is a small bar area just inside where we had a swift drink (they...More

The restaurant offers a very limited and fairly expensive menu (at least during the Christmas season), mostly seafood and game. Not much meat, except for an overly priced steak (and marrow). The oysters are okay, but not necessarily the best ones. The open kitchen is...More

Reserved and arrived at opening time 6pm. Great attention and service until dessert and bill-paying when it got busy. Cozy place, great food. I got ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach and onions? Heavenly. Friends got fish and all enjoyed. Would definitely return, but always...More

Great place, great service - really friendly. Prices about right & a really nice gin and tonic served. We had the tasting menu which was lovely. Defo return.

I would not expect to find such a good italian restaurant in Amsterdam, hence a rating above expectations. I have really enjoyed the appetizers, all well cooked, very good quality and presentation, and the fettuccine with lobster and cozze were top! Well done. Only not...More

We were recommended to this place by a native and told how wonderful. Yes, the food especially the mains, were excellent. Starters good too but overpriced. Ordered dessert after a long wait, then took 1/2 hour to appear, long after coffee had been delivered. Told...More

We let the waiter order for us, and he delivered plate after plate of fantastic food, each of modest size, and each better than the last. Wine recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend it.

Had a great evening here with my friend. We were lucky to get a table and we weren't disappointed at all. We took the suggested course menu and wine pairing, all suggested by our waiter. It was perfect! Special to mention was the veal they...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
