We enjoyed this so much. The waitstaff was wonderful. We had everything we wanted and more. Food was great. Took back doggy bag and glad we did. Everyone should go here.

I read about this in Rick Steves's Amsterdam book and reviews on Trip Advisor. Also watched Rick Steves's Netherlands video where he went to Sama Sebo to try the Rijsttafel. So we came to check it out when we took a break from the Rijksmuseum....More

This was my first visit to an Indonesian restaurant, and I was quite pleased. My wife and I both had the "small" sampler plates, and we had plenty of food, all of it good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

After visiting the Rijksmuseum we wanted to try some Indonesian food and this place was conveniently just around the corner. The menu was quite undescriptive so we decided to try the Rijstafel. After a seemingly endless stream of little plates were brought to our table,...More

Had the Bami goreng with veggies - was served with a cold salad that was fantastic. The main dish was delicious and worth coming here for.

Five of us had a great meal here. We elected the "rice table" where they bring out a huge variety of food to share. Fun!

Call; this place can be very busy as so close to Rijksmuseum. If you will be in Amsterdam a few days before your meal, you can stop in OR have your hotel call them. You don't want to be turned away on a busy evening and then... More
