Just eaten here with family. A unique experience with delicious fresh African food. They specialise in sharing dishes you can eat with your fingers and great coconut cups to drink the African beer in. Friendly hosts too. Thank you.

Very enjoyable food and friendly service. We had the vegetarian platter for 2 (Ethiopian pancakes served with a selection of dishes) and it was excellent. I also had a coconut beer - I don't like beer but I do like coconut, so I thought I'd...More

Its sad to say but portions was small, we were told off on what we decided to order and attitude was really poor. Way to expensive for what you get and it feels even worse to leave money in a place where service is just...More

No problems detected here. We had the African surprise with additional coconut beer. Reading up before hand helped. Hand eating with big fluffy pancakes instead of cutlery. It was absolutely delicious. We’ll be back next time.

This is a new cuisine for me, but not my spouse. We had a shared dinner for two and it was amazing! Spices I’d never tasted and light malted pancakes to pick up meat, vegetables and all. Eat by hand. All meats, salad, lentils, collards,...More

Food is delicious, portions are big, the price is very good (especially for Amsterdam standards) and, last but not least, the service is great, very kind and friendly. You should really go!

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

I cant really be sure but knowing the owners of the place, I am sure they would be ok to have you bring your own... they do however have some nice exotic African beer!
