I was checking online for some restaurants and saw a lot of good reviews about the De Zotte. We had an amazing experience there. We ordered a cheese board and the rib-eye. Belgian beers.

On Sunday night we Kicked off a brilliant night here enjoying a three course meal and sampling some special beers which the chef had paired with the meals. Great food, great beer, great service and great atmosphere.

If you love good quality beer then it's your heaven. It's a bit expensive for a student budget but normally affordable. The only problem might be the size of the bar. As it's so small, it's difficult to find a place and you might need...More

yes, excellent food though sadly their beer list has been substantially reduced. This place used to have one of the best bottled beer list in Amsterdam but no more. What they have is in the fridge behind the bar and there were around a dozen...More

This pub specializes in Belgian beer with about 20 Belgian beers on tap and who knows how many by the bottle. We came here for the beer, but our light dinner of quiche and salad was very good. One server handled the entire establishment for...More

A Belgian beer bar with a long list to choose from. The food I had (which was Entrecote and was served a little overcooked but came with a fab sauce and salad though). The place is dimmer than the photos suggest but a great ambience...More

What a hidden gem! Amazing selection of beers, mostly belgium. I hear the food is amazing, but sadly the kitchen was closed when we arrived (10pm). If the food is half as good as the beer, it's worth it.

Found this place whilst searching online around 18 months ago whilst visiting Amsterdam and staying in the area. I was not disappointed! A great little bar, full of locals and other Netherlanders, and very few tourists. Beers? You're not lost for choice! A great list...More

The bar is on its own tucked away in a quiet street not too far from the rear of a theatre. I thought it was just a bar but they did great food as well, the steak I had was melt in the mouth stuff....More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
