This was in the top 5 recommended of our pocket rough guide and it didn’t disappoint. Looks plain from the outside but is amazing inside. The choice is overwhelming but the the bar staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. This is a must for a visit!!

Excellent beer, with lots of local options that Aren't Heineken or Amstel. Staff was attentive and engaging, and fellow patrons were welcoming. I can say that the next time I am in Amsterdam, this will be on my must visit list.

A must-visit for all beer enthusiasts. The bearded barkeep was efficient while still answering questions about the different kinds of beer. The bar is neatly located next to one of the cities many canals. Cozy, good and an all-around pleasant experience. Cheers!
