This is my favourite place for cocktails in Amsterdam! The bar itself is really lovely, and would be a great place anytime of year, it would be lovely and cosy in the winter but is also light and airy in the summer. The staff are brilliant, and very knowledgeable, don't be afraid to go off menu (although the menu has... More

Happened upon this little gem after walking the city for the day on our way back to our hotel. We were drawn to it because we could hear live jazz playing from the street outside. We walked in and a duo were performing. We were lucky enough to get two seats by the bar which was perfect so we could... More

The mark of a good cocktail bar is that you can ask for any cocktail you like, regardless of whether it's on the menu, and it appears, perfectly mixed, without so much as a blink. Shazam, one grasshopper and a couple of excellent negronis. Fabulous.

My girlfriend and I went on a Saturday night for a cocktail after dinner and we quickly found a nice window table overlooking the canal. Service was good (we immediately received nuts and menus) and the ambience was relaxed and romantic. Cocktail were very good (not cheap, but appropriate). Location is ideal among the very quiet canals (especially compared to... More

An elegant, classy bar with a great vibe. Dark and elegant -- great mixologists and cocktails in a nice setting.

The bar seemed more interested in catering to a trendy Amsterdam crowd than to hotel guests. It was jammed, drinks were overpriced and nothing special. Unlike other hotels we stayed at on this trip, the hotel bar was not comfortable either for an aperitif or a nightcap.

My friends decided to go to Pulitzer's bar before going to have celebration dinner in the restaurant nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the chique old-style interior, velvet chairs and ambient lights. So cozy and elegant to sit down especially near the window where you have a perfect view on the canal of Amsterdam. The white wine was really good... More

beautiful bar setting with great window seating overlooking the canal; good wine selection as well as mixed drinks. Eric, our waiter was funny, personable and offered great suggestions. Enjoyed a cheese board and complimentary bar snacks while recovering from a full day of shopping! Enjoy -

Hotel bars can be a bit stuffy and conventional. Pulitzer's bar naturally fits the theme and feel of the hotel, but there's nothing stuffy about the drinks. Service is professional and efficient, guests are a mix of locals, tourists, hotel guests and walk-ins from the street. Good times are had by all.

Dapper bartenders mix their magic behind the bar with an extensive cocktail menu. Well groomed and charming, the keep the ladies entertained while working their craft. A step back in time with some Art Deco inspiration and smaller rooms inspiring good conversation.

The glamour of long lost times enters the modern day at the Pulitzer's Bar. This timeless hotel bar tells a contemporary tale of cocktail history through a classic menu and an effortlessly elegant atmosphere. Thanks to its makeover in 2016, the interior captures the accessible elegance of old school hotel bars in a monumental Amsterdam building with its own entrance at the Keizersgracht. One could easily flee the bustle of the city, yet overlook its signature canals, in one of the comfortable armchairs around the fireplace or talk the night away at the impressive Art Deco style bar.
