It's been a few months, so I can't even remember what I ate, but I do recall that it was outstanding, and easily the best meal I ate all week. In Chicago you would expect to pay 50-75% more for a meal like this.

Was staying in the hotel for Christmas, so obviously ate here for Christmas Day. This is one of the best meals I've ever had. Starting with champagne, amuse bouche, then a six course meal, finishing with coffee and petit fours, we could not have asked...More

De Kersentuin was the restaurant of our hotel and surprised us with a nice concept: Nopi-like they offered only entree-like dishes. While the concept is quite modern, the actual dishes were more classic in nature. Don't get me wrong: very nice and tasteful, but less...More

The chef was educated by Stefan van Sprang, chef of the 2 Michelin star restaurant "Aan de Poel", Amstelveen. The only minus point is the lack of light. (But we are older people and maybe younger ones don't mind.) We had a more than memorable...More

The Restaurant De Kersentuin has undergone a complete renovation and is now open once again. With a famous history which spans more than 30 years, the restaurant has now moved in an exciting and innovative new direction. The kitchen is in the capable hands of two-starred Michelin chef Stefan van Sprang. Stefan's motto is high-level casual dining with a healthy serving of flair. Among other culinary delights, his menu includes simplified versions of several signature dishes from Aan de Poel.
