We ate here on a Monday evening where we ended up being the only customers - so inevitably service was impeccable. The food was absolutely mind-blowing too though - so thoughtful and really one of those experiences where you taste things in ways that you've...More

De Kersentuin reminded us yet again why it's our favourite restaurant in Amsterdam. In two years, we've yet to have service that comes even close to this place. We wouldn't count ourselves as regulars (we've visits three times), but the same server has always been...More

My wife and I went for dinner and chose the recommended 4 course. The food was beautifully presented and on the whole very tasty and the service was superb. However, and it's a big however, at the end of the meal and having spent €200,...More

A gastronomic delight. Went there on a whim since we were staying at the Amsterdam Hilton. It was not what we expected but the small plates were meticulously prepared by a crew of chefs in the kitchen. They suggested three plates per person. Didn't exactly...More

I have no words to describe how great it is. We took the 4 course chef menu and everything was amazingly delicious. Also, the service was perfect (matching the food).

We were staying right next door at the Hilton and had dinner at De Kersentuin. Food was excellent and very gourmet. Service was top notch. Plates are all quite small so plan to order several courses. Very enjoyable evening.

I have already mentioned this place in my review of the hotel, but will write a little bit more here as it is listed separately. It is clearly an upmarket place with a fancy menu and so we had high hopes. As I can't eat...More

It's been a few months, so I can't even remember what I ate, but I do recall that it was outstanding, and easily the best meal I ate all week. In Chicago you would expect to pay 50-75% more for a meal like this.

De Kersentuin was recommended to us by our Amsterdam hotel, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, even though it was rather full it did not feel crowded at all. Also, the design is beautiful and calming. The highlight...More

Same Van Sprang style from Aan de Poel, but a little more casual atmosphere. The Staff are all so kind and the creations were the same standard as Aan de Poel. Stefan is a Michellin chef who can inspire us to understand food is art!...More

The Restaurant De Kersentuin has undergone a complete renovation and is now open once again. With a famous history which spans more than 30 years, the restaurant has now moved in an exciting and innovative new direction. The kitchen is in the capable hands of two-starred Michelin chef Stefan van Sprang. Stefan's motto is high-level casual dining with a healthy serving of flair. Among other culinary delights, his menu includes simplified versions of several signature dishes from Aan de Poel.
