I went to have dinner in the restaurant during the restaurant week. The set menu was ok but far from what I expected. The price is high. Service was ok. No plans to go back.

This place has an excellent steak tartare, fresh and well balanced taste. This is how it should be. Not many place can make it right, those guys can. We've heard quite some French language around us, looks like it's popular with French people.

I had the pizza as the starter. Total new nice experience😄 the lamb with the fresh asparagus was a total fantastic dish. On top of that the portion was huge! Excellent service that included valley parking.

Despite a recent change in ownership, this gem, is still just that. Ridiculously awesome steak tartare, an original take on pizza( with fresh tuna sashimi, wasabi mayo & filo pastry), and a super fois gras, egg yolk combo. Super. The place looks like an 80's...More

We had a business dinner at the Le Garage. The service is decent, but at time lagging but still OK. The main problem is the food. Nothing special and the taste isn't great. Factor in the $$, I don't think that Le Garage offer a...More

This is an excellent and stylish brasserie. We went on the evening that the legendary owner and founder had passed away and staff could not have been more hospitable. An excellent restaurant and a great atmosphere. Made a great start to our trip.

Apart from their European style steak and great crème brûlée, just try their great Brazilian chocolate.

Description
Le Garage - The story As the name suggests, restaurant "Le Garage" used to be a garage. The parallel becomes more obvious when we realize that a restaurant is essentially a place where people come to be repaired - or restored."You enter tired and exhausted by the drag of daily life, but you leave refreshed and uplifted", that is the trade of the restaurateur. A human skill that involves observing, feeling and smiling. People should enjoy being with you. We, of "Le Garage" are trying to make a difference by offering such a welcome, supported by culinary craftmanship, wine advice and atmosphere. On April 1st 1990, the interior designed by our friend and regular designer Cees Dam (amongst other things known from the 'Muziektheater') was opened with a grandiose party, which was attended by a thousand guests. The place is very much sought after: it can still be hard to get a table.Seeing and being seen, along with tasty dishes and cheerful wines, the recipe for an evening out.
