We ordered a Vegetarian and Punjabi Thali. Both were very tasty . The service was very friendly and fast. The price - quality was excellent. The cook is orginal from southern India and this gives the food a bit a southern twist. I can highly...recommend this restaurant. We were here during the Corona pandemic and we could sit safely outside.More

The only indian restaurant i visited in Amsterdam. Place is quite near to damn square and it is open till 11pm /11:30pm roughly. It is mainly run a family which i suppose are indian origin as their hindi was quite good and they suggested us...their favourite and what's good to try. They even customised the food for us a little Since we love more spicy food. We order paneer sabzi and tandoori roti, unfortunately they are not pulka roti/ chapati available here which in normally prefer to have but even the tandoori roti was good and their service was pretty fast. Food was pleasantly good and was made little spicy according to our taste and how we have food back in india. Food came out fresh and hot really fast. Ambiance:-3.5 Service:-4 Value for money :-3.5 Taste:-4More

Visited for lunch and food was nice and tasted truly Indian. Butter chicken and mango lassi were perfect, naan: I‘ve had better, but ok. Staff was straight to the point but cheerful and fun, not rude as some other reviews suggest. Tucked away in a...back room without natural light, atmosphere here is not exactly fine dining like, but that’s also not something you would expect at this location in Amsterdam. Value for money is average. Overall, fine for an authentic Indian meal near to the main train station/ departure point of the canal boat tours.More

The location is good, the decoration at the restaurant is nice but the food is not authentic Indian at all. Being a European and had been traveling to India several times, so I know what Northern and Southern Indian food is like. The waiter asked...me whether I preferred medium spicy or spicy, I told him very spicy. However, the food was not even medium spicy, it was not spicy at all. Also , the desert was Kheer with whipped cream, which don’t fit at all. Actually there is no fat and sweet whipped cream in Indian cuisine. Maybe for people who have never travelled to India before, the food is delicious, but for people who know what Indian food is, realize that it is not Indian at all. For the athmosphere and decoration I give 4 points, for food zero points, so it makes 2 points finally.More

It was a terribly sunny and humid day in Amsterdam, an odd statement to even begin with, but yes true! We arrived in Amsterdam after 3 hours from Paris and we were hungry. After the boat ride, which was great, we started to look for...a place to eat. Since we didn't know much around, we started to walk and found Gandhi. We looked at the menu and said let's try it out. Warning: The manager/server/host is very straight forward with things. I called Strict Food! ;) He will explain to you all the things you need to know and how to order. It was lunch time so people were coming in. Thank God we didn't have a bad food experience, we ordered and the food arrived. The service is a little slow, but it didn't take that long. The food was good and well cooked. Spices spot on and was made at that time. I do recommend this place and I hope you have a good experience like I did...More

Please don't visit. This is the worst Indian restaurant. Pathetic food quality and worst service as well. They absolutely don't know how to make Indian food

You could have rice with chana (chickpeas). Great taste, you will feel satisfied and without eating meat.
