My wife and I stumbled into this restaurant accidentally. My wife loved the way it is designed and the basil plants inside. We had a soup and a kisch. Both were excellent. The interior is colorful and welcoming. One immediately feels at home inside. The...More

De Bolhoed was a lovely place to have lunch. I really liked the way the foliage growing out the front of the window giving the impression of a sort of indoor garden area especially with the sun shining through the window. There was outside seating...More

After searching for some vegetarian options we lucked upon this spot! Delicious soups, hot (squash basil) and cold (beet gazpacho), and very large tasty “greek” salad to share. The homemade hummus was excellent! Super happy we found it!

This place was recommended by the concierge of our hotel because we asked for a vegetarian restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for a bowl of soup and two quiches with a salad. The waiters were busy smoking outside and could careless if we need anything...More

Good food but what made it a lovely experience was the server. She was asked to recommend a beer and suggested her favourite which was a lovely beer. The when she made a tiny mistake she worked extra quickly to correct it. But don't expect...More

A truly delicious and delectable veggie experience! The waitress was very kind and helpful and the food was really good. We ordered hummus and quiche with a salad and the variety of taste was great: the price was reasonable... each dish costing from 6-12 euros....More

Very fascinating from the outside, gives you shivers when you're inside. But not positive ones, creepy shivers. The heavy dark red Dracula curtains at the entrance and all their spiders' webs welcome you in the crazy jungle of Virgin Mary statues, basil plants, questionable paintings,...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
