We had breakfast here a couple of mornings and passed by often (we stayed in the neighborhood) while the evening crowd dined, and we liked it a lot. No frills, cozy atmosphere, good food.

This cafe is an ideal place to sit in the sun and enjoy a light snack (with a good selection of sandwiches and soups) with a local beer. The staff are friendly, the food is reasonably priced (considering the tourist location) and there is a...More

Had an early lunch here, both of us happy with our sandwich. Appears to be very popular with locals and tourists alike. Large for a pub, old and worn, but cozy. No real complaints about service, though somewhat standoffish. Recommended for anyone.

When you get in it looks like a proper bar, but with difference in levels makes it look like a fun place for a nights out. Our first choice of seating was poor due to an overhanging speaker, so we choose a new high chair...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
