We do try with our creative ideas! Good to hear positive reviews. We can't take credit for the apple pie :)) That comes from patisserie kuyt in amsterdam.

Seating on bridge next to the Rembrandt House. Great pancakes and coffees, beers and snacks. Good view of canal, even better view of the thousands of bikes passing over the bridge.

After visiting the Rambrandt House, we walked down the street and passed by Cafe Tisfris. The Cafe was not yet opened at the time of our visit but we noticed that most of the tables for this cafe was placed in the open air outside...More

Seating available inside and out. We were fortunate to visit twice on our journey. Excellent rose mint tea. Very good hot chocolate. Had a very good lunch also. Sandwiches are freshly made. Good service. They only take euros, no cards. Nice spot for people watching.

A friend and I stopped here while sightseeing Great location to sit outside and watch people. We both ordered beers and veggie sandwiches. I loved mine made with roasted pumpkin.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
