I visit De Vier Pilaren every single time I ever go to Amsterdam. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The poffertjes (I get mine with nutella added) are the most sumptuous, delicious things that you will ever eat. I would recommend to anyone!

We visited this place twice on our 4 day trip the ‘poffertjes’ were to die for. They are little pockets of air. Definitely worth a visit. Staff are very friendly👍🏼

I just lived this place on the canal. The weather was fabulous, although a little cool, but the poffertjies were amazing! This is going to be my priority every time I go to Amsterdam in the future!

Some pancake house I passed by just across the street from the hotel I've stayed (Marriott). Looks just like another cafe so I decided to have some Dutch pancakes. They specialise in pancakes and that's what everyone else orders. Freshly made to order, very friendly...More

Great service in this little place. Almost reminds you of a Dutch Waffle House. 😁 The pancakes are out of this world. Try the banana and ice cream if you can. You can thank me later.

Yes, they do. Most of their pancakes are gluten-free. My daughter who is very sensitive had no symptoms. The waitress that served us was gluten-free by choice but told us that all the gluten-free food is cooked with great... More
