Came here for brunch and ordered scrambled eggs, a dish that is difficult to get wrong which is why I ordered it. This place managed to though. The bread wasn't toasted (what are you playing at) it was tasteless and dry, the eggs weren't seasoned...More

Called in here for lunch, this place has atmosphere and the friendly helpful owner/manager was an important part of that. The food was great, and I decided to finish off with a Belgium hot chocolate drink, it arrives at my table with a small additional...More

Cute neighborhood spot with delicious freshness in every bite! I enjoyed a lovely Cobb salad with fresh dressing and based bread with organic butter. Servers were very friendly and efficient!

Had breakfast with my family and the food was ok but not really worth the money. The entire place felt tired which you really could tell by the weak engagement among some of the staff. There are better places in Amsterdam.

We ate here twice and the food was excellent but the clincher, for me, was the lemonade. It was the best lemonade I have ever had in my life. Made my mouth pucker, not a lot of sugar (if any), cold and refreshing. I had...More

Was not bad but too expensive for what it was. Presentation of the plate terrible. Service more than average.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

Our bread is made today exactly as it was in the beginning: with only organic stone-ground flour, salt, and water, kneaded and shaped by hand and baked in a hearth under the watchful eye of artisan bakers. We insist on the freshest and finest ingredients. If we can't find them, we make them ourselves. Our shelves are lined with the products we've created: the jams and chocolate spreads on the communal table, the granola in your parfait, the coffee that fills your bowl.
