The tonkatsu ramen have a rich broth and are tasty. Friendly and speedy service in this informal, busy place. Had a good lunch and will come back for more.

Chanced upon this place while walking along the streets/canals of Amsterdam. This place is located near Anne Frank House and Nine Streets (shopping district) which serves great ramen especially for those Asians seeking to get their Asian fix. There are a couple of soup bases to choose from (e.g. chicken, pork). Texture of noodles was great (neither too hard or... More

Place was quite busy, but it's definitely not the best place I've eaten ramen ... not even close actually. It's ok but no more than that.

Given there aren't many ramen places in Amsterdam I understand why this place has such good reviews, but when compared to the real ramen this place falls flat for me - it is however a good option if you are craving a big bowl of soup and a helthier option for aquick lunch. The dumplings are good, the service as... More

I could hardly finish my bowl of ramen, and our kids (11 and 14) would have been better off sharing. House-made noodles, stock, very tasty, and quick service. It's a small place, so you may need to wait, and they close at 1500 and re-open at 1900, I think, but please do check. Highly recommended.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
