Will transport you to Spain in one hour - the food is like over there and the waiters speak Spanish. Good jamon, pulpitos, pescados, etc. Spanish wines too.

We went to this restaurant twice in our recent trip to Amsterdam. The freshness and quality of the food was outstanding and dishes like the octopus, sardines and chorizo were outstanding. Service was good and the prices were very fair. Thoroughly recommended.

The place is a Spanish restaurant and is located in a nice area, a bit far from the city centre, next to Ossterpark. It offers only outdoor sitting, but they have heating lamps and protectors which makes it suitable also for cold and rainy evenings. The menu is quite rich and from the first sight it looks quite cheap (a... More

Lunch in family last saturday. We were alone. I am a big fan of spanish food and i was NOT disappointed by the food, the place and the service. We got some free pickles and chose to eat octopus, pinchitos, cheese, ham, chorizo, saucisson and spanish beer. We have been well advised, the place is charming, prices are soft and... More

A friend of mine recommended paying a visit to Pata Negra to try authentic Spanish food. All what I can say I was disappointed. The restaurant has an average outdoor seating, not very comfortable seats, shaky table, and very crowded. Aside from all of that, there are two waitress trying to serving hungry tummies. Hopelessly we waited for around 10... More

Finally we have found a great place for true tapas (and not the usual "all you can eat" or tapas with a twist...) and what a lively environment! We were lucky to have a seat on their busy terrace (which will be heated when it cools down a bit in the evening), and as service staff is extremely busy they... More

Got the wrong order 5 (!) times. Tables around us got mistakes as well. Found a piece of plastic wrapping in my tortilla. Staff was hurried and spoke little dutch/english. Bathroom was untidy and the toilet was broken. Food wasn't great and often clearly not fresh. Not coming back here for sure.

We had dinner - ambiance and food great. Staff did great job. Big portions, decent price. Will certainly keep it on my list of best places.

This is a small and loud place, so if you want to get a quiet and romantic dinner this is not the right place. But if you want to eat a good tapas and feel the pulse you should give it a try! The food is made with love and the staff takes good care of you. We really recommend... More
