AWESOME food! Fresh and super delicious. Price was ok with the food you got. Tips: Reservation require otherwise you will end up waiting for 30 minutes or more as this place is always full especially at night.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. The seafood bar is a place you cannot miss if in Amsterdam. For starters i went for Calamari and my partner went for the Sashimi. O. M. G I died and went to food heaven. The calamari was so delicious, soft, well seasoned and surrounded by the most beautiful batter. The Sashimi was so fresh and literally melted... More

The quality of the food is superb, the price paid absolutely good (100 eur for a combo of lobster, oysters, crab, mussels and various shellfish is really low!, including an appetizer of scallops). Higly recommended.

A friend had recommended The Seafood Bar and it was everything she said it would be. We were there for an early supper/late lunch so it wasn't crowded but I'm sure it often is. We ordered the "Plateau Deluxe" combination of cold seafood for two and were stuffed. Two kinds of crab, langustine, two kinds of shrimp, smoked eel, smoked... More

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel which was just around the corner. We were lucky to get a table, the place was packed which is always a good sign, and that was at 6pm. Unbelievable food. Service was wonderful.

We dined here for dinner one early evening but it was already packed. Before we were allowed to enter, we gonna give our undertaking that they can get back the table before 7pm. Make your reservation early

There are 3 sea food bars in Amsterdam, but this is the nicest one. Order the grilled sea platter with a mixed salad and some fries; this is their best dish if you ask me. It is quiet hot in this restaurant, so dress for it ;)

Go there, take the large Fish / Seafood platter and enjoy! Great attentive staff and super experience I can highly recommend even if you need help on how to eat certain things ;-). Would reserve a table in time.

This lovely restaurant with a wide choice of fish and seafood is well worth a visit. The dishes are reasonably priced and the restaurant caters for gluten intollerant customers. This is a small and popular restaurant so booking is recommended.

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
