Once you are done with your french fry fetish in Amsterdam you should stop at this restaurant. We ate here twice and we're never disappointed. The portions are generous and the pricing is very economical. The restaurant is small but has adequate seating.

We came here last night just passed it and thought we would give it a try. Good value for money and large portions that we couldn't finish. Staff were nice and service was good. Food was not amazing but it could just be our taste - the Singapore noodles were lovely, the char Sui was slightly chewy and maybe could... More

Just back from Amsterdam and whilst we were there we stopped at the above restaurant. We had the tourist menu which was ok but all piled on one plate !!!. If we went again we would try something different.

Dear Hammer Steve, Thank you for your review and feedback. Beside it was too much on one plate for you, we hope you have enjoyed the food. We hope to see you back in the future, so we can split the portion over more plates :) With kind regards, Dragon City More

This restaurant is just next to DAM Square in Amsterdam on a very busy street. I was there twice , for dinner & lunch. Owners are originally from HK. Portion of food served is huge for a single person. Friendly service and fast. Reasonable price. Will go there again.

We had been looking for somewhere to eat for about half an hour (because I'm a very fussy eater) and we came across Dragon City. The menu looked lovely, so went in and the lady who was working was absolutely lovely, really pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was really relaxed, cosy and peaceful. We ordered 2... More

First night we were in Amsterdam we decided to explore for something to eat. My wife fancied Chinese and we stumbled across Dragon city while passing Dan Square. Really good food, attentive staff and it was quiet even though the hustle and bustle was literally the other side of the glass window. Really enjoyed the dumplings!

Found here while looking for a reasonable priced Chinese meal. Was not disappointed. Food was well priced and tasted great. Only criticism spring rolls were not much bigger than the mini spring rolls, still tasted good though. Ginger tea to finish was really good.

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
