Had the table for 15 booked a few days in advance. When we arrived we were told that someone had called the day before and cancelled. I can promise that this did not happen. However we did notice a table for 15 laid out, with...13 people sat there. Food was mostly very good, but two people in the group became quite unwell that evening (one of which had a vegetarian meal, so not exactly sure how that was done). Even the starters took a while. Overall, pretty poor management coupled with a couple of unwell customers in our group made the experience pretty poor.More

Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Set in the most beautiful location and perfect from start to finish! Came here with my daughter a couple days ago and the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and good vibes. We ordered some drinks while we perused...the menu and they came really quickly even though the restaurant was pretty busy. Our food was also served to us in good time and was absolutely delicious, especially the freshly baked naan bread - WOW. Unreal. There were items we wanted that were not listed on the menu…. Problem? No way. They made it for us anyway! Nothing was too much trouble. The lady who clearly owned the restaurant was floating about the place checking on and talking to customers, she was really lovely and we appreciated her effort. When we inevitably return to Amsterdam this will be the first place we eat! 5* all round.More

Good curry, worth the walk to the north end of the city centre

One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited for a while. All of the food was tasty. Slightly hotter than average compared to UK restaurants, and all the better for it. Definitely recommend if looking for curry in Amsterdam.

Great Place!

I had not made dinner plans when I saw this restaurant and thought I’d give it a try. I’m very glad I did. Service and food were amazing and …one dish with rice and naan can easily feed two!

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Amsterdam and elsewhere. The food was erved by attentive hosts. I like tandoori dishes and this restaurant did not disappoint. My husband had a lamb dish he declared to be the most tender he's ever had. He raved about...its taste and appreciated that the spice level was to his liking: not too extreme. Walkable from Doubletree Central Hotel. Many menu choices and everything appeared to befeshly cooked, not warmer over.More

Deliciouse authentic Indian food

Delicious food and good price

Delicious food, the staff was also friendly and fast to serve the meals. Glad we stopped by for dinner. There were also a few Indian families eating there which is always an amazing sign for authentic food. The only problem I personally seamed to have...was the air-conditioning, but that might have just been me. Overall I think that its an amazing underrated Indian restaurant in Amsterdam that is worthy of a visit!More
