We came across this place whilst walking around the area and although it was busy the staff found us a table at the back of the restaurant. We ordered 3 tapas dishes each and they arrived at various stages. We thought this a bit odd but actually it was better than them arriving altogether and going cold. We had the... More

We came here on a recommendation, but were quite disappointed. We ordered "the 21" which is a chef's combo of tapas for 21 euro. We had high hopes, but all the dishes were swimming in oil, not at all the fresh, crisp tapas we have gotten elsewhere. The service was nice and friendly though.

Went for Valentines Night during our visit to Amsterdam, great Tapas meal. We went for the simple 'Classico' Tapas menu, it was more than enough, and the flavours were amazing. Meat was slight tough on last course, but only a small short coming in an otherwise excellent meal. 60-70€ inc drinks. Which isn't bad for a special evening.

We quite literally stumbled across this place whilst walking home Christmas Eve. We stopped in for a drink and found out they were open Christmas Day so booked ourselves a table. The place really is lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. We had some extremely nice plates of food and the portions are very generous. The place was... More

Absolutely amazing food and the staff is incredible. Basically all the dishes are worth a try but the seafood is exceptional and. Vegetarians won't be disappointed either. Humble interior and authentic atmosphere. I always go here when visiting Amsterdam and sometimes it is actually one of the main reasons.

We had a really good meal with lots of tapas , the baby grilled squid were really delicious as was the steak on toast. The wait staff were good and the atmosphere was genuine. It was good value for money with a fine glass of cava.

I really liked this tapas bar! It's small and authentic, they serve very nice tapas and the sangria is very good! But be careful, it hits you before you know it! :D I think it is also reasonably priced.

Over a week into vacation and walked by this place - saw the TA sticker and optimistic. Decor is fantastic and table outside. Enjoyed a liter of red sangria - enjoyed a number of tapas. Calamari, bread with mayo, shrimp in garlic, patatas bravas and the amazing and ridiculously outstanding goat cheese in Serrano ham. It was so good we... More

Quirky decor , nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good menu, enough choice without being too long. All our dishes were really tasty. You must try the meatballs. Good value for money. We had a good evening there.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
