My partner and I came across this little gem of a restaurant tucked away on a not so busy street of Amsterdam. Well... I did not expect the high quality of service & food we received. Very impressed! Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Amsterdam!

I believe the reviews are over estimating this restaurant,as it is normal downtown restaurant, normal food with an average service. Nothing special at all,go for house wine as you will never go wrong as the guys are not expert in wines nor pricing it. Tried the lobster and it taste full of butter so nothing special about it.

We lived in a hotel nearby and found this little gem by coincidence. Surf and turf for a reasonable price, tartare in perfection. We'll be back

My friend and me had a wonderful three course meal: - 1st was a cod fillet filled with turtle beans and some caviar and garnish. Super fresh and tasty! - 2nd: duck breast with all kinds of veggies, very rich and sticky and delicious. - 3rd was desert: lava cake, with finger licking oozing chocolate, a toffee smear, white choco... The food is absolutely stunning to look at and almost too pretty to eat :) but when you finally get over that part and try the food, it's really tasteful. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, the service is really helpful as well!

Went here with a friend. Really cool first impression as it's actually located in really central Amsterdam but in a cute nice street a bit tucked away from the crowd. The restaurant has got a modern but cosy intimate feel to it. There are enough choices on the menu whether you're wanting to eat fish, vegetarian or meat. For starters... More

We were a group of eight and were so well cared for by our server and the chefs on Friday night. Half of us took the chefs table, half from the menu... ALL Of us left happy, content, and so full!

Amsterdam's Chinatown has a long history when it comes to food. Looks situated in the center, a forest of canals, bridges and 16th century buildings. The wide range of old asian restaurants, Looks stands out immediately. The first impression of the two ancient monumental buildings. But if you open the door you enter a warm, modern, international, urban occasion. At the entrance the kitchen, staff greets you kindly. With an open kitchen, guests can immediately see that we work with fresh products The building consists of many different levels connected by stairs. The rooms have their own character and look. Through a lot of levels and the use of illuminated glass creates a unit.
