Visited on a friday night as a party of two. Atmosphere: Good, very buzzy, trendy bar/restaurant Food: Overall average by no means amazing. It is a sharing concept. Starters we had the duck pancakes and ribs. They both tasted very similar. The duck was probably the best dish all night very tasty, For mains we had steamed sea bass with... More

This place has got a good vibe, great cocktails and very delicious food. I also love the location and would go here again. Service was less good but ok.

We were staying in The Park Hotel so before heading out, we all met up in the bar for drinks. The bar was fabulous and classy and we decided to enquire about a table @ Momo not expecting to get a table as it was looking very busy. We got the table we had hoped for 👍 The food was... More

What an amazing find! The sushi is amazing as well as the Kobe beef is a must try. Each thing we tried was beyond incredible. We are foodies and my husband is a chef. We both agree it's in our top 10!

I went here one night for a date. I have nothing but good things to say about the food. It was well cooked, nicely presented, decent size portions, etc. The staff, especially at the entrance are rather snobby. Luv you work here you don't own the place. But I can get over that. However I don't understand what sort of... More

I go here whenever I'm in Amsterdam. It's a great place (really quirky layout, great bar area and fantastic in summer). The menu is extremely diverse, lots of options for all tastes. Special mention has to go to their choice to offer raw wasabi, probably one of the most interesting flavours yet so rarely served this way. The drinks menu... More

Beautiful restaurant with great food and great service. The staff is very knowledgeable and can offer great recommendations. The only negative remark I have about the restaurant is the concept of a time slot. We were told we have a certain amount of time to eat and that after that we will be asked to leave. That concept I disagree... More

Momo is always a good choice with great food, great wine, great cocktails and a great ambiance! Close to the museum plein en Leidseplein and where lots of locals go to so you know it MUST be good! Scrumptious sashimi and sushi, this restaurant is a tapas style restaurant which makes it easier to taste a variety of different dishes.... More

We got in late to Amsterdam and didn't realize how hard it would be to find a place to eat after 10 pm. Our hotel steered us here, and we had no idea what we were in for. The place is gorgeous, the lights are low, the open space is enormous, and the music thumping hard but not too loud.... More

Set in the design-led Park Hotel, in the centre of Amsterdam is MOMO Restaurant, Bar and Lounge. The very centre of the city's fashion district, it's no surprise to find a restaurant with such style right here. A true destination venue, MOMO is all shining wood floors, cool, clean lines and uber-trendy seating. Light floods in from the street, reflected around the room by huge mirrors - the epitome of sleek European design. However this concept restaurant combines this very Western styling with Eastern cuisine, flavours as colourful as the surroundings. The menu is designed for sharing allowing the diner to enjoy creating their own experience with friends.

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
