We spent about 40 minutes by waiting our tiny portions of food. Two medium meat balls with mashed potatoes cost us about 45 euros. Taste isn't that great as described. Regular meat balls. And also we were waiting to check out for too long. I...wish to admit a non-prepared waitress. She didn't know they menu. She was trying her best, but always going back and forward to ask cooker.More

Seating could be improved and she got our order wrong, and overcharged us, but the food was delicious! :)

Very good food. Want 100% certain what to order. Asked what they recommend and wasn’t disappointed. Believe it is traditional Dutch food but not certain and doesn’t matter, would hit it again anytime.

I came to this tiny little restaurant in central Amsterdam as I'd been recommended to do so by a friend. I was able to have a wonderful salad with a huge meatball (I chose the one with cheese inside). All really delicious, I don't remember...how much it cost me with a coke zero but I know it was very reasonable. The lady that served me was lovely too...very friendly and welcoming. Definitely make your way to this little gem and enjoy the great food!More

In this unique restaurant one can go to order take-away dishes, but there is also a (very) limited amount of seats available. Since one cannot make a reservations it is first come, first serve which is fine.We went there with a group of 4 (2...kids, 2 adults) and took one of three tables. The food...wow...I never expected that something so humble as a meatball can be so tasty. The menu has a few recurring meatballs and a one (or sometimes two) 'meatballs of the week' which can be ordered separately or with a Dutch 'stampot' (mashed potatoes with vegetables) . There are also rolls (Roti) and great toasties (in Dutch: tosti) available. We had a lovely time. Service was friendly (and authentic Amsterdam in the sense of humor and remarks...something which I love) and swift eventhough there was only one person working in the restaurant. We will visit again!More

The cafe is very small and cozy, at busy times I can imagine you’ll struggle to get a seat. But the service was very friendly and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend for lunch when in town.

Meatballs and sides were very tasty. Staff were also friendly and welcoming. However, we ordered hot mint tea which was just hot water with mint leaves. Nevertheless as it was cold, we finished it and asked if we could pay for more hot water to...be added. We were directed to the bar next door for the refill of hot water and had to carry the very hot glass back ourselves without any tray being offered. Then we were told that we had to pay €3.50 euros extra for the hot water that was simply added to our reused mint leaves!! Exorbitant!!More

Dear, First our excuse for the supplement didn't have to pay you. But a large glass of fresh mint tea is 3.50. You had to go to the toilet and say I'll pick it up myself, and we told it's hot. You said with friendly...More

Very nice place to eat in Amsterdam for a fair price, the place is so good that from 3 days we stayed in Amsterdam we ate there 2 times, divine meatballs and pure delicious, not to mention the homemade sauce that is out of this...world. Very good service, cozy place where we leave our message on the wall. I ate the first day special meatball with cheese and pure plus endives plus bacon and my girlfriend ate pure plus kale and plus bacon, on the second day my girlfriend ate pure plus kale plus bacon and grandmother's meatball and I ate spicy meatball and pure plus carrot and plus bacon.More

Nice and reasonable priced meal. There was no room in this very small place, so we were seated near by and it was a great Dutch bar. The prices near by are fxxxing crazy and their prices are fair
