One of the things they do here is to give you a little fob thing, which glows red when you are supposed to get up and get your food from the counter. On it is a tiny label which says "putting the customer first "...More

At first I thought this was a bit 'concepty' (I worried it would feel like an upmarket, fishy Nandos) you chose your fish at the fish stand; a lovely chap explains how each item will be cooked. It's weighed and priced. We chose soft shell...More

We love fish and were excited to try Pesca. Sort of odd to see and chose your fish before it’s cooked but we were open to it. We liked the casual atmosphere and didn’t mind getting up to serve ourselves however the wait was interminable....More

I was at the theatre today, theatre of fish. And it was WOW! The dishes were so delicious and the wine was so good... Also, it was the most impressive representation of food I have recently seen. Look like, I'm in love with a theatre!

Very special fish restaurant with a great concept. The prices of the fish selection are calculated as on a stock exchange. The selection is huge and everything is extremely tasty. The equipment is beautiful. The service is very courteous and helpful. We were there with...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

Theatre of fish! The opening of a unique fish concept with great fish of exceptional quality in a theatrical experience. It's a warm, cosy and trendy atmosphere where guests participate in the concept of creating their own meal and picking it up only minutes later at the open kitchen. Guests are able to choose their type of fish at the marketplace where the catch of the day is displayed. The fish are offered at surprising prices that vary based on supply and demand. At the market guests can order tasty side dishes to go with their meal. At the bar you can fill your own bucket with ice cold beers or great wines in order to experience the perfect combination of flavours. One of a kind, a new experience, Pesca is taking fish back to the basics. This is the mission of Pesca. Great Fish. Guests Love. Pesca, Theatre of fish.
