The food was quite alright but the service lacked most of the normal features you'd expect by a restaurant of this stature. Wrong plates, slow coffee, misappropriate conduct. To sum it up, no recommendation.

I made a reservation to eat at this restaurant with a friend and was really looking forward to it, cause I have eaten here before a few years back and it was great. We were welcomed very friendly and could pick our own table, cause we were early and there were not many people yet. Took a while though for... More

With a large group of (former) students, we enjoyed Christmas dinner in Louis Xv. What used to be a wine shop for long, is now transformed into a restaurant. We were led into the cellar (good choice because of the noise we produced). Friendly service. The food was good but I prefer food where 'less is more'. No complaints at... More

I heard good stories about this restaurant for a couple of years, but I never found a change to go eat there myself. Those great reviews can only be confirmed by my recent visit! The price is really reasonable compared to the quality of the food. The service at the restaurant was excellent as well. We had chosen the week... More

Excellent food and drinks at great prices. Staff are very friendly and flexible. Good for tete-a-tete dinners as well as bigger functions! Something for everyone. We go regularly.

Recent visit was a nice surprise: we had different dishes there and were in general pleased with the food; pre course, main course and dessert. Definitely in the better end here in Groningen! Restaurant is modern and has nice atmosphere. Service is friendly, but not exceptional fast. Before entering the restaurant a sign suggested wide selection of wine per glass.... More
