We were blown away by this experience - from the location to the art to the food and service - an absolute must visit in Zurich. Our concierge at the Widder managed to get us a table - we were so happy! What really makes...it is the art and history which are fabulous - and the care and attentiveness of the staff who We’re also incredibly knowledgeable and patient and kind - what a place - hope to return!More

This restaurant is unique unfortunately I was in a weekend solo trip in Zürich But nevertheless I decided to try it out alone. I made sure to have a booking as it is quite hard to get a table last minute the restaurant is absolutely...stunning as mentioned by previous reviewers it is filled with art from Picasso and more. By opening up the menu It is true that is over costly and extremely expensive however you can find some dishes that are cheaper than the rest but rather filling and very tasty. I took the beetroot salad it was excellent, Followed by the veal sausage with Rösti! It was a large portion and delicious, rösti freshly made and served at your table wow! Then followed by chocolate mousse which is absolutely stunning as well. Of course you should expect to pay Fr.100 per person but it is totally worth it this is not a restaurant you go every day but it has experienced if you’re in Zürich. If I have a small complaint is that the host that day wasn’t too friendly, he was uptight and just at the moment I wanted to take a picture of the restaurent he stopped me and said no pictures and delete it!! He said someone famous is here , but honestly this is not the manner to talk to a guest. Anyways after posting some pictures online the head chef of the restaurant actually commented on my picture which is a nice gesture. I will surely be back and bring my family members to this wonderful restaurantMore

Probably the restaurant with the greatest history in Zurich. Food is expensive but average quality, also for service. I have expected more considering the outstanding reviews.More

Kronenhalle reeks of money, old money and lots of it. The clientele can well afford the hefty prices. The food is outstanding, the service impeccable. You better arrive with a big appetite. If you go to Zurich, a visit to Kronenhalle is "a must"More

This is a must visit when you are in Zurich. You pretty much need to book as it is a very busy place because of it's history and great food. You can admire the great paintings of great artists like a museum which gives to...your whole experience a different dimension. The food is of excellent quality and the service was spot on. It is a place that I would always visit when in Zurich as it worths the experience. We have tried the classic shrimps cocktail, veal fillet with wild mushrooms and stroganoff which were very good.More

This historic restaurant located at the central place Bellevue doesn’t need a presentation, it is an institution in Zurich. Ambiance is elegant, service highly professional, the food is exactly as one expects. The menu includes old classic Swiss and French dishes, but also Italian, with...some interesting proposals. Everything is impeccable. Prices are high.More

I’ve always wanted to go to this restaurant because it’s so historical, and because I wanted to see all the original art on the walls! I didn’t realize how fancy it would be, so I was embarrassed to be dressed in leggings and a tee...shirt, but the staff made me feel so welcome. I was only ordering dessert and wine, and also felt embarrassed that I didn’t have more money to spend on more. I apologized for taking up a table just for dessert and wine, which I could have probably had at the bar, but was just dying to eat in that beautiful restaurant! They were so kind and assured me it was perfectly fine to order anything I liked. The waiter recommended a wonderful Italian merlot, and the chocolate mousse with profiteroles. The dessert and wine together were a decadent, delicious combination. I definitely enjoyed this place and was completely enamored with the ambiance, the walls, the class and formality. I felt like I was in a different time period, surrounded by amazing art and very kind people.More

Business dinner during a scientific meeting. A must in Zurich. Good food, good wine, good service. Everything surrounded by Picasso, Chagal and Mirò. What do you want more?
