Excellent restaurant with good service. If you like to try new food and have it served accommodated with good wine, that’s the place to go. If u prefer a traditional kitchen this definitely is not your place to go.

The food was delicious, the Michelin start is well deserved, creative, fresh, well balanced. Service is swift, nice and sympathetic. Fun place to enjoy great food. Wine card is excellent, and once I've gave the sommelier carte blanche to make me discover Swiss wine at...its best he really blew my mind !! Thanks for the discovery, the lecture and the passion for your wines.More

Fine dining does not have to be stuffy and formal. Maison Manesse makes this point quite strongly with its choice of modern design, friendly staff, and unorthodox dishes. The food is delicious, the wines are carefully chosen, the athmosphere is casual and fun. It's a...place I can recommend wholeheartedly.More

We had a good meal, but with some minor quibbles, thus only a 4 and not 5 rating. After a rather indifferent reception we managed to order the 4-course pescetarian set menu, with the non-alcoholic drink pairing. We appreciated the small extras (the smoky onion...soup shot, the cucumber-lime granite, the goat milk & honey marshmallows), but had smaller issues with the cooking times for the other dishes (the yolk of the slow-cooked egg was not runny, the octopus could have been a bit more tender). Some ingredient pairings were more on the side of clashing than contrasting, e.g. the pickled crunchy salsify with the slow-cooked egg, the beetroot cream did not enhance the cured fish (the dashi did, though), and the pine ice cream was too bitter. Cooking time besides, the octopus dish, with the whole wild spinach, harissa sauce and sweet potato cream was my favourite. The non-alcoholic drink pairings were in general successful (mixed opinions on the herbal tea, though), in particular the date-fig-kombucha was delicious, as well as the wild blueberry juice which was served to us by mistake. The rather indifferent service continued throughout, there is room for improvement here.More

I been now several of times in Maison Manesse and it’s one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The kitchen serves you a menu where everytime I been there, the food has been on point and very delicious. The front of house is very...friendly and professional. I’m a local chef and don’t have much time my self to go out and dine in my own town but every time I do so it’s always a topic to return to Maison Manesse. A must if you visit Zürich!More

After our last visit to Maison Manesse there have been many changes. Positiv changes :-) We've been big fans before but the way Maison improved is amazing and no wonder that they ended up on the list of the 50best discoveries. Great fun fine dining...and lots of wow effects on the beautiful dishes with ingredients from arround the corner and ideas with no limit. Check it out and join the fanclubMore

Partner and I visited for dinner last Friday night. Service was friendly and unrushed. We ordered the "Zur chalte Hose" which turned out to be sliced dried cow heart. Interesting but a bit exotic. We also shared the Beetroot Sandwich and a Cheese plate. I...would caution you (as our waiter did us) the portions are indeed very very small. We did fine but all in all, but even as fairly well traveled people we found this experience a bit on the edge. The wine list has a superb selection of Swiss wines. When traveling i try to steer towards local wines (where available) and was not disappointed here. If i had it to do again, I would strongly suggest going with the 4 or 6 course tasting menu - and i'd probably do it with the wine pairing option. I'm kicking myself a bit for not following my own usual advice - when you're not familiar with the turf, let an expert guide you. I think that would have made for a far more well-rounded experience. Hoping we get back to Zurich to try this option.More
