Turbinhalle is a unique local spot. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home. The beer was perfectly crisp and refreshing for a fall day. Had the lunch special with potato soup -- very very flavorful and surprisingly not too heavy for being a starch. For the main course I ordered the tortellini with gruyere and seasonal... More

Excellent and creative dishes, with special theme weeks every now and then. The service is very good with friendly and humorous staff. The restaurant is set in an old factory building and has retained a hint of industrial charme.

I went there for a business lunch. Very busy place during lunchtime. However we had reserved a place and so it was easy. Unfortunately they don't have english menus, therefore I had to translate the whole menu for my business partner. The waitress spoke Switzer Duetsch, so I had to ask her several time to speak slowly and repeat since... More

It's a popular place for lunch on weekdays, with mainly swiss/local cuisine and some dishes that been infused with curry powder. Desert was a let down. Service is very basic, food tastes ok, but absolutely nothing special. Try their locally brewed beers -- the only thing that is actually good.

Turbinen Bräu is the biggest independent brewery in Switzerland. After Heineken and Co started to buy all the traditional breweries in Switzerland a lot of small and middle companies, privates, Beer friends and funny people started to brew. We have now more beer brands and taste in Switzerland than ever. That is how Swiss people keep their independency. Next to... More

We had a nice dinner in this restaurant recently with my boyfriend. The food was amazing, I had deer with spaetzli, also their season's specialty beer I liked a lot. We were lucky enough to choose a day which happened to be the birthday of the restaurant, so we even got prosecco at the beginning and some lovely chocolate as... More

They have their own brewery and the golden beer is really great. I have been there on multiple occasions with colleagues. The lunch and dinner fare is good value for money according to Zurich standards. However, their snack menu is slightly sad. Staff is good natured and responsive. Not the place to go if you want out of the world... More

The atmosphere in the restaurant was not good. It is a big hall. There is no lovely place outside. However, during my stay it was very noisy as there was a construction ongoing on the street. The service was not very good and not very friendly. Terrible was the food. I ordered a fried fish. The fish was total dry... More

The Restaurant and Bar are spacious with very high ceiling; located in an old industrial building. The "industrial feeling" is adding a special touch to the atmosphere. The staff is extremely competent and very friendly and makes you feel at home instantly. The beer brewery and "beer ramp", where you can buy your "beer to go" is just next door.... More

Restaurant and Bar Turbinenhall, is a large restaurant/bar located next to the beer distribution hall. Open for lunch and dinner they offer a variety of items on the food menu and the drink menu and they have an extremely extensive wine selection. The bar is long and has a lot of padded stools. The restaurants’ seating color scheme is dark... More
