Went there on a cold winter day. The decorations were great, the staff polite and friendly and the hot chocolate awesome. I liked the atmosphere.

A great place to visit for a hot chocolate and cake on a raining day in Zürich. Definitely recommend it. The other meals and drinks all looked really nice to, so getting something savoury and a glass of wine is also a good option.

My friend and I went here and got hot drinks because we were freezing. I got the hot chocolate and it was amazing! The cafe was decorated for Christmas and it was super cute.

one of the best traditional cafés in town. A must for tourists and yet loved by locals. Scrambled eggs, Schober Brunch, Bagels and Flammkuchen are highly recommended. If you are up to sweets go for the Gugelhopf. Coffee in the "Kännchen" like in the good old days is awesome!

Waited at a table for half an hour for a COFFEE while I watched those seated after me get served. It never came after asking a few times. I left without ever being severed anything. I wasted a total of about 40 minutes of my day. If you're on your own and don't speak the language - go elsewhere. Very... More

The place is without doubt wonderful. The pastries also look wonderful. But what I sampled was not that good, and the prices are extremely high, although this is Zwitzerland and it's not their fault if their exchange rate is insane. I had a slice of a cake with pastry cream and berries and it was all right, neither bad nor... More

After a nice walk in beautiful Zurich we went for hot chocolate and wonderful cakes at Cafe Schober. We sat outside in the early spring weather and it was great. The taste of the hit chocolate is absolutely fantastic. Definitely worth a visit even though it is quite expensive even for Swiss standard.

Lovely cozy place, various rooms (I prefer the one on the top floor). Old style interior. A must is the hot chocolate, really delicious! Good pastries. Please note it gets often very busy and then it is not really quiet anymore and the service then gets a bit slow. However for me still one of the better options for coffee/chocolate... More

Visited the cafe in January of 2017. It was full of people and that's not a coincidense. We drank a great chocolate and the sweet was just great. It was a great experience and I would suggest it undoubtedly.
