Most tourists in Switzerland know about Sprüngli on Paradeplatz, which is justly famous for its cakes and drinks. Not so many go to Schober, because it's in the Niederdorf, which is a shame because it's just as good. Actually I think the hot chocolate is better. The building itself is worth a visit. In warmer weather you can also sit... More

The guide on the #freewalkzurich tour recommended this place to us. We liked it a lot. It is nicely decorated with very tasty deserts.

I love to visit Café Peclard, mostly during the holiday season as this place goes all out with their decorations and it’s a great spot to visit day or night. They have Christmas decorations on the plants at the entrance, once you walk inside and in nearly every spot up to the top level. A really festive atmosphere. In my... More

A visit to this coffe shop is a must for chocolate fetishists!! They offer the best selection of chocolate I ever tasted!! Their house specialty is the hot chocolate with whipped cream.. it corresponds to a meal and is incredibly tasty. Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch in a baroc/jugendstil atmosphere!

I had never been here before and my brother in law asked if I fancied a coffee while we waiting for the ladies having a spa As you enter it's like a small cafe with a cake counter but then it just opens up to lots of different area on different floors The decoration is stunning and this time of... The cafe has the loveliest atmosphere I have ever experienced. The cafe looks small on the outside but gets better the further you walk inside. The decor is cosy and whimsical with little surprises hidden everywhere. Whilst it may be pricey, the quality of the coffee and hot chocolate was clearly reflected in the price. Well worth it for a... More

From the moment I stepped into this beautiful cafe, I knew it was special. Upon arriving, you'll enter the boutique and pass the most beautiful, heavenly-looking pastries in a glass case. Make your way through the downstairs and up the stairs, where you'll find rooms with different seating options. I'm not sure how the cafe is decorated during the rest... More

I love this cafe in Old Town Zurich. The decor is the absolute best and each floor has a different feel and ambiance. I love their double baked almond croissant, their quiche, and their hot chocolate. My daughter loves the red velvet room.

The Christmas decorations and atmosphere in general were very lovely but the coffee was just so-so and the service was a little lacking (they had the poor waitress covering a lot of tables and it seemed hard for her to keep up). One advantage is you can order a pot of coffee, which is enough for two small cups, and... More
