We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews posted here. I really don’t understand why people think this restaurant provided high quality food. The restaurant exploits the idea of selling you authentic Indian food of quality, but to a south Asian, this place is...embarrassing. First of all, charging for poppadums (flimsy plate with 3-4 pieces) - this should just be served as a snack while waiting for your order. 2) “Indian salad” - this is not a salad, so don’t be fooled and order this. It’s a small plate with sliced raw red onions, a few leaves of cilantro and a lemon slice - yes, they charge you for this! This is a garnish, not a salad. How incredibly ridiculous to pass this off as a menu item. 3) The buffet: sad. The pakoras were half cooked, potatoes were still raw in the middle, the batter way too tick as well as the vegetables. The veggies should be thinly sliced or shredded, and not heavily coated in the batter. The salad portion of the buffet also a sad example - how about just a simple kachumbar? Butter chicken’s sauce was far from authentic. The aloo gobi was something I couldn’t recognize! The food from the a la carte menu took a long time to be prepared and was average. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I can understand that ethnic restaurants try to cater to local tastes, but please don’t call it ‘authentic’ food. It’s a massive disservice to the amazing food coming from South Asia.More

Over the years I have tried several Indian restaurants in Zurich. My favourite back in the day was KingsKurry, but after that closed I stopped eating Indian food in Zurich. Fast forward to today and a friend told me about this place. Wow!! The food...is amazing, best curry I have ever had since being in CH for nearly 20 years. Mouth watering menu, super portion sizes. Ive taken a few friends here over the past months and they all said the same thing, best curry in Zurich, fact!! They have a lovely garden open in the summer months. Service can be a bit slow, but that doesnt bother me, you know that the food is being freshly prepared and for me, its definitely worth the wait.More

I celebrated my birthday there on July 17th, we were a group of 16 people. The food was really good and everything came fast and in extremely tasty way. My friends loved the lamb curry and I enjoyed my vegan curry. I definitely recommend this...restaurant if you like indian food. For sure will go there again.More

We came for my best friend’s birthday. 30 minutes after our reservation. Food was great. Service was great. Portions are enormous. It justifies the price. I asked for prawns vindaloo a no go in India and I got it with a smile. We even got...a digestive as a present and they didn’t even know we were celebrating. I deeply recommend this restaurantMore

I was here several times in February and March. Friendly service and excellent dinner. From chili naan coming along with four dips (hot chili is the best) to Tandoori dishes and Vindaloo (freshly prepared and tasting different than the "usual" Vindaloo this restaurant is one...of my favourite spots in Zurich. It is always difficult when you go to a place with high expectations... you will often be disappointed.... BUT this was GREAT 👍 we recommend highly, amazing food and amazing service.
