We come here once a year for a romantic night out. Get a table upstairs where Goethe used to live. The food could not be better, more SWISS. Believe me after having tasted pretty much every Zurich Gschnätzeltes in Town. This is the dish you should have here, not to say the others are less good!

A friend took us to Kaiser Reblaube on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was indeed very pleasant, the building indeed a remarkable spot in the old town and the staff very friendly. But the menu is limited, and for what it is, overly expensive. For starters we had the millefeuille of Saint Agur with apple puree, walnuts and lettuce and... More

We invited a friend for a birthday dinner in this charming, woodpanelled restaurant in the old part of the city. After a warm welcome by the very friendly and attentive staff we had a look at the menu. There are a few meat/fish/veg dishes - not a big choice but first class ingredients and preparation. We had meat & fish,... More

A Swiss resturant with excellent food and friendly service. That sums it. It is a very old and historical building. I recommend this resturant without hesitation to try Swiss food at its best.

The restaurant is in a beautiful building in Zurich old town. The décor is quite traditional Swiss and charming. Menu is quite small, but most people will find something to their taste. Plenty of vegetarian options, as well as interesting food combinations and traditional cuisine. I had the Zürcher Geschnetzeltes with rosti and it was very good, particularly the rosti.... More

Fine dining - not cheap - but worth the price. I was stuffed after two great courses of mushrooms and then fish but could not resist the cheese desert as the first two had been so good.

I happened to find this restaurant on my own when wandering around the city on a rainy day. It turns out to be the best restaurant in Zurich that I've tried. Very fresh home-made pasta dishes, nice angus beef and great local Swiss dish. Even the free cashew nuts were over toasted and served warm. We ended up going back... More

Maybe I should not write about Kaiser’s Reblaube on Tripadvisor and rather ensure that this charming restaurant with its lovely food and hospitable staff remains a bit of a hideaway – one of those cozy, pleasant and high quality restaurants one can find in Zurich. Over the last two years I have been dining several times at Kaiser’s Reblaube. You... More

I have never felt compelled to write a review about a restaurant, until I dined at Kaiser's Reblaube for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. I was a guest for a "wine & dine" with a winemaker, which consisted of four courses and requires well over 50 glasses. The food was impeccable, we were all impressed with the precision, flavors and... More

Very high quality ingredients, flavourful, attentive staff. Faithful to Swiss tradition. Only negative is price but it may be necessary to get wild, local and seasonal ingredients.
