As we walked back into town from Furi, we noticed that the Brown Cow was packed and seemed like the place to be, so we returned a few hours later for dinner. It was crowded, but we snagged a spot at the bar and had...More

My wife and I enjoyed two meals at Brown Cow Pub during our visit. The menu is simple, but the quality and quantity were a pleasant surprise. The service, especially from Loraine was exceptional and the main reason we returned the next day.

One can get sticker shock at the prices in Zermatt, which makes Brown Cow Pub a nice option because it's quite reasonable, especially for Zermatt. A glass of house wine was less than 4 euro, versus 12 or 14; burgers were less than 20 euro...More

A very cosy pub in the center of Zermatt. On midday we had a soup with bread which was very tasty. After a walk in the surroundings on a rainy day, we had dinner. Very tasty burger with perfectly tapped Guinness. Very friendly staff

Second time eating at the Brown Cow, fantastic food and drink. Cheapest restaurant I found in Zermatt, and of the meals I had, this was the best. Nice staff behind bar, very attentive.

We walked by another night during happy hour time and it was too crowded and we had our kids with us so we didn't go in. If you mean happy hour specials like reduced prices during a set couple of hours I'm not sure.
