This is a reasonable priced pub/restaurant at the high street in Zermatt. Great food if you go for their hamburgers. Quite a large crowd so you probably have to wait for a table. But have a beer and wait - it is still worth it.

Captures the pub vibe very well, comfortable. friendly, good variety of beer and lovely looking and tasty pub food - visited twice and enjoyed both times. Is quite busy but seems to have a constant flow of customers so you shouldn't have to wait for a seat for too long.

If you like lots of atmosphere, really really good burgers, just the best service... Just go here. Not what I was expecting in zermatt, costs reasonable, would come every night. You can't book, you just get in and fight for somewhere to sit. Brilliant!

Walking into the Brown Cow Pub was like reliving some memories from past ski trips. It is usually fairly laid back though not without music as in any pub, and you can find a table front or back to settle into. There is a relaxed environment here which is almost refreshing from the rest of the venues and the food... More

The burgers are great, the only downside is trying to find a seat. There is no reservation system so expect to wait a while if going at peak times. It took us over an hour and a half to get a table but the food came up quickly and was delicious, it was definitely well worth the wait!

The second day, the second time we walked into this bar visited by many people, the lady-bartender nodded and said: 1 Aperol Spritzer and a large Cardinal draft beer again? What a way to welcome your guests!!! This is hospitality as it should be. We loved this lady and we loved to have a drink or two each late afternoon... More

Very popular pub in the centre of Zermatt. Good selection of beer on tap for Zermatt, but the highlight of our visit was the cheese burgers. Probably one of the best I have had: juicy, smoky great tasting meat, with a nice seedy bun and good Swiss cheese. Chips were Chunky and pretty good too!!!! Don't miss out!

Warm and inviting atmosphere. My friend ordered a Gordon Blue, which was a little on the dry side. My cheese hamburger had a decent patty and piece of cheese. Tasted very good. French fries were lovely!

Who doesn't love the Brown Cow Pub!! We have been going to Zermatt for several years and love going to this place! Certainly gets our share of our 'Apres Ski' budget!! Bands to one side, and discos below makes it the place to be at! And just one other thing... the burgers are to die for!

We dropped in for breakfast (and lunch) during our visit to Zermatt. Breakfast menu is great, as all the items are individually priced, so you can build the breakfast of your choice. Very friendly service and food was delicious!
