I saw many reviews, regarding the price, but those people have no idea about the Swiss price structure. Pricing is absolutely fine for Switzerland.

We wanted to eat typical Swiss food, my wife particularly wanting Raclette. We couldn't find many places that serve it in Lucerne other than here. The staff are lovely and friendly and I had soup which was lovely and tasty, but my wife's Raclette was expensive and disappointing. Whilst we have had it before, this was simply 4 x small... More

This place has character outside & inside the building. Servers spoke good English & were very attentive. We tried the Fondue as a group & I ordered the specialty of Luzern which is veal w/mushroom sauce and potatoes, I cannot pronounce the actual dish nor can I spell it, but it was delicious. We had fun and food was good!

We were cold and getting tired and hungry. We had been walking around when we suddenly came up to this beautifully decorated building and it was a restaurant. Typically Swiss fare...raclette, sausage, cheese fondue... We were with a baby so it was a bit challenging to find a space for the stroller but they were very accommodating. Service with a... More

Old building ( est circa 1602) with cafe/restaurant. A good variety of menu items for all palates. We had two of several versions of Rossti (grated potatoes); one vegetable and cheese, the other ham, egg, and cheese. Both fantastic. Note: 12:30-13:30 is very busy. Check out dumbwaiter when there.

The place is very particular and very Swiss like..good for pics. So u would expect a typical local cusine.... Wrong. The waiters are from Portugal, the cook was from Romania. Everybody very kind but the meat was hard and dry, and the soup not very identifiable. Bah! The bill too high.

Absolutely the BEST fondue we've ever had!!! Found this restaurant while walking on old town. Beautiful painted building. We had no reservation but they kindly sat us at a nice table. Not large restaurant, small bar area. Service was fantastic. The fondue amazing. The Swiss entrees were very good too. Great dinner not expensive.

We're traveling with two toddlers and since they were sleeping we opted to actually eat at a restaurant. We said we'd eat outside but the staff insisted on us eating inside where it was warm and cozy! They helped us with our huge stroller and were super accommodating and the food was AMAZING! We ordered the fondue and beer and... More

On a walking tour of Lucerne, our tour guide mentioned this restaurant as a possibility for lunch. We were somewhat tired and very cold. The waiter recommended a warm drink for me and we ordered the cheese fondue. It was SOOOO good; really hit the spot. Lunch was very expensive as was everything else in Lucerne. But we like it... After wandering around the old town we went in here, as they seemed to do local Swiss food. A lovely place inside with its wooden panelling. The food on offer was local and it was nice to see something different to the usual global offerings. The Rosti is very nice. All food arrived hot and quick. Served with a friendly... More
