We had dinner at the Restaurant Kirchenfeld. It is located not far from downtown, right accross from the Einstein Museum. Our starters asparagus salad and char carpaccio were very fresh and delicious. The main courses fillet of rainbow trout and stuffed morels with veal meat were excellent. Especially the morels were very original and tasty. There is a nice selection... More

Service was a bit slow, but the food was quite good. I was there with about 15 business colleagues and we all left satisfied, but everyone commented at how slow the service was. They did not dedicate enough staff to our table (in a nicely decorated private room). If they had added one more waiter they could have pulled it... More

Good morning Thanks for your answer on tripAdvisor. If we have a reservation for a larger group we allways inform them in advance that it could last longer as everybody chooses something different to eat! It's not because we didn't dedicate enough waiters! It's not very easy for the kitchenstaff to serve 15 guest on the same time with 15... More

We've been there several times. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the old town; nice atmosphere both inside and in the summer garden. Wide menu options: we really enjoyed soups, risotto, gnocchi, wienerschnitzel and the great dessert's cart. A very good mix of French, German and Italian cuisine! Service and right value for money. Friendly chats with the... More

Within a three minutes walk from the "Zytglogge" (Clock tower) over the Kirchenfeldbrücke you will have a nice view over the town and you will find the "Restraurant Kirchenfeld" close to the tram station. The restaurant has different rooms and a nice garden to sit outside under chestnut trees. Cooking/Menue in a traditional way but elegant and excellent Specialities with... More

6 of us had dinner here recently and everyone of us were extremely happy with the quality of the meal. Wonderful ingredients and prepared to perfection. The service was top notch. My only very small criticism is the tables would look far prettier with table cloths on in the evening.

Near the Helvetiaplatz, this restaurant has an historical background from the mid 19th century. The main room has a very high ceeling and great paintings and scultures froom Roger Pfug, le Corbusier (architect) Huber Schang or Franz Gertsch. There is a good choice for the lunch between a traditional menu, fitness, vegetarian, etc. Dessert are generously served and delicious !

We sat in their outdoor space and enjoyed their daily special of lightly breaded fish over ratatouille plus soup. The service was very friendly and professional. The food was well prepared.

Superb restaurant just across the bridge of the old town of Bern. It is really worth going there. A nice open room with a lot of nice decoration and art. The kitchen is only using super fresh ingredients and they are cooked that you really get the original taste. A must go for each visitor of bern.
