The cake we ordered was good. The service nice. The interior is old but so old that it is in again. Could use a new make over....

It is not easy to keep your rang in the top ten. Eichenberger is one of them. I personally like the one at the Bahnhofplatz, where you have the shop and the tea room at the back. It is quiet cosy and I always meet some interesting people. The service is perfect and the quality of food and drinks outstanding.... More

Saw this place because it was nearby the train station. We got seated in the very back. While I understand that I have no right to be pushy, they spoke no Engish and there was no English on the menu. Luckily, I took high school German, so I got by. We wanted to get a cake with out coffee, so... More

Lovely coffee and cake and the staff were really friendly and helpful. There seemed to be a lot of locals in it when we were there so that's always a good sign. We also bought some cake to take home with us.

This tearoom is like the Bern I experienced as a child, ahem, not so many years ago! It's a very swiss place, where you can have a delicious light lunch for a reasonable price but it's not a restaurant: they have quiches, sandwiches, soups, salads, and other things with tea, coffee, or fresh OJ. Amazing cakes await you for dessert... More

We had bread, sandwiches, chocolates and some pastries, in addition to tea and hot chocolate. All were of topnotch taste. The chicken sandwich is heavenly. Very quiet and has a nice welcoming atmosphere. And just because of their chicken sandwich. we will visit there again. They also have a takeout branch at the Bern railway station.

The title says it all. The breads all look really appetizing, they feel very soft and fresh - but maybe not very traditional. The rest is just average (salads, coffee, Twinings tea...). In the breakfast, there is for example no fruit juice included. Seems to be apreciated by people of a certain age. Air-conditioned. Not really suitable for working: quite... More

Amazing cakes, each a work of art really, as ever the most amazing coffee. Would recommend the branch in the Altstadt over the one near the Bahnhof. Although much smaller it has air conditioning and is more frequented by locals rather than the touristy and somewhat dated tea room style at the original store.

One of the last really cozy beautiful Tea Rooms in Berne. We enjoyed hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream on top and chose different sweets from the display. Nice for a romantic cup or to go out with danily. It's always well visited and full of live. We will come back for sure. A pity it's sometimes closed on... More
