Came in here after a long day of walking around Asissi and this was a nice place to relax, drink wine, and check in on what was going on in the world. The wine was reasonably priced, the owner was pleasant and spoke with us...More

We just arrived home from Italy again for our 15th year of taking two fun groups of Americans to Italy twice a year. I absolutely love to visit Nila's amazing wine bar, "Bibenda Assisi" every year. I took twenty-five Americans on my Fall tour, and...More

We were looking for a wine store that would ship wine when we happened to spot the Bidenda Assisi. Walking into the shop gives you the feeling of entering a cozy, private wine cellar. Nila, the owner, immediately makes you feel welcomed as if she...More

Don't miss it if your thing is wine tasting, the food menu is limited bur more than enough to taste with the wine of your choice.

I am surprised Bibenda Assisi is ranked as high as it is on Trip Advisor because it's really just a very small, nice wine bar. Eight of us stopped here and while the ambiance was nice, I would not call it "amazing" or even "quaint"...More

We went here to grab drinks before dinner and the owner, Nela, was awesome! She was so helpful and gave us phenomenal recommendations. She asked us a few questions to gauge what we were looking for and then grabbed us a great bottle of wine....More

We were lucky to get one of the 2 outdoor seats. The salami & cheese platters were great & we were thrilled to drink superior monk made beer. Assisi was a lovely historic town of churches. Very quaint & amazing friendly service which is hard...More

My wife and I visited Bibenda Assisi on October 6, 2014 and visited with Nila. After sampling a number of local wines we explained we were visiting from Canada and were interested in purchasing a number of bottles if it would be possible for Bibenda Assisi to ship to Canada. After making a number of calls Nila advised she could. We purchased 6 various varities and payed for the shipping and completed the paper work. After, some time elapsed, wedi not receive the wines. We eventually learned that the wines were shipped as "olive oil" and subsequesntly siezed by Government Customs Officials. What do I do now?
