Walked in and witnessed the receptionist being really rude to clients who were late for 10 minutes. All waiters looked like their family were just killed or something - angry, aloof, no one had a smile. Such mood obviously spread to all diners. The restaurant...More

GENERAL STUFF: Greeted warmly by the kind team, this slightly hidden restaurant is worth booking in advance. Just five minutes from the Duomo cathedral, its a place that local Italians also use. A woman who had just received her PhD in Geology celebrated there with...More

Very beautiful place, it reminds a mediaeval castle. I didn't find any lacks because food was excellent, especially cured meats. Prizes are a little high but justify by the quality, the service was very good as well. I certainly recommend this place.

Great local food from Tuscany and fantastic ambient. The restaurant is located in some ancient vaults (cantine). The food was great as the presentation. Great wine list and good service.

As recommended by owners of our airbnb, we reserved a table at this atmospheric restaurant above Etruscan cave-tombs and were rewarded with our best Siena meal, served with aplomb. Outstanding cooking and wines, helpful service. Really good value. What more to say?

This restaurant is certainly one of the top 5 in Siena. A fact, they know very well indeed. The interior and atmosphere are fantastic! Rustic stone walls with dimmed and little lights give the place a cosy and warm feeling, actually a perfect place to...More

We stayed in an Airbnb across the street from this wonderful restaurant. If I had stayed in Siena longer, I would have eaten here every night. All waiters and waitresses were extremely nice and gracious. The restaurant has stone walls with warm lighting. The ravioli...More
