The setting of this restaurant is fabulous, and the food very good. We loved the risotto mixed in the cheese wheel. A little pricy, but great experience.

This is undoubtedly a place for tourists, but that is not necessarily a negative comment. The food was excellent and the ambiance was exquisite. It is, however, difficult to get into this place unless you have a reservation. I was able to make a reservation...More

We were looking for a nice and cool place to have lunch in Siena and found this very nice restaurant. Its a 5 minute walk from Il Campo. The restaurant is located in some kind of an old cellar. Cool and nice atmosphere. Exactly what...More

We were only Americans there. All locals. Very good local Italian cuisine. Good wine. Good service. Ate and drank well for 35 Euro per person.

One of a kind experience, dining in an Etruscan tomb. Cheese soufflé was fabulous! Ordered a 1.3 kg florentine steak for 2.

Although the place was full and we had no reservations, they seated us promptly. We loved the pecorino soufflé we had for appetizer. My ossobucco was cooked to perfection. The place itself is amazing. Extensive wine list

Just one street off the normal path of the tourists we found Da Divo. Quality of the food was excellent, service professional and friendly. Great choice of wine at reasonable prices. Indeed not many locals in the restaurant, perhaps they know cheaper places, but for...More

Yes, particularly during peak times. We often called the same day for reservations or the day before.

Yes there is an excellent place to stay just three minutes away. It faces the side of the cathedral baptistery and we stayed overnight there in June this year. It is called the palazzo magnifico and is a B and B with five... More
