My boyfriend and I were very excited to dine here, especially after reading all the rave reviews....but unfortunately we left feeling duped. This place may have been wonderful years ago, but has clearly become a tourist trap...our first hint to stay away should have been the sign near the Duomo, pointing tourists in the direction of the restaurant....everyone dining around... Our food was five stars. I don't think you could order anything off the menu and have it not be worth the price. The wine list is intimidating but the staff is happy to help. The staff is generally quite affable, but was for us absurdly slow. I expect a two hour meal in Europe, but three and a half... More

If you are looking for a unique dinner experience with good food try this restaurant. There are tables located in their own private "caves" along the sides of the walls as well as tables lining the hallways but the cave tables are more private. The food is very good and high quality (although not quite 5* exceptional but you won't... More

Great food nice game dishes, try the pidgeon ,the boar ragu or the truffle risotto Good wine list and atmosphere Had a glitch with the credit card terminal and some staff maybe an off day which made it a 4 for us rather than the 5 the food deserved

....but at times little substance.... The surroundings are nice - incredibly old interior, slightly mouldy smelling basement area but this didn't seem to matter - the restaurant is very atmospheric and almost created an atmosphere of hushful reverence which built up our expectations with the food. It started off well with a lobster and squid ink starter which was full... More

Situated just a short distance from Siena's Duomo, the Osteria da Divo combines great traditional Tuscan food (and a fine wine list) and first class service with the absolutely astounding fact that the lower portions of the restaurant incorporate an Etruscan tomb dating to the 7th or 8th century BC! With all of this, the prices were entirely reasonable. Wonderful!!

The food here was perfect! It was the atmosphere and taste we expected and desired while in Siena. Out of all the places we visited for our couples trip in Italy this was our favorite. The staff knew when to be helpful and when to let us have our space. When I ate the truffles off my plate a young... More

Had a superb meal with very attentive wait staff! The dining room was built into excavated brick rooms. Candles made the ambiance perfect for an evening for two!

Had a very enjoyable lunch here. Lovely menu, excellent presentation & a very extensive wine list with some very reasonably priced local wines. Spectacular cave surroundings. Only criticism is that perhaps portion sizes could be a little bigger.
