My wife and I shared the meatballs, pappardelle with wild boar and panda cotta with berries. Food was delicious; service was fine and portions were large. Very affordable. Best meal in Italy yet. GO HERE!
Another great meal in Tuscany. The menu was handwritten, with no English translation. All our pastas were delicious. I enjoyed the pici (local pasta) in garlic and tomato sauce. Also we enjoyed the taglialoni with white truffles. The restaurant had gluten free pasta options, and...More
Not so sure why some reviewers think every restaurant should flip their wigs.
To us, Osteria del Gatto provided tasty, nourishing food on a cold afternoon. If it’s white tablecloths and candlelight you seek, this isn’t your place. If a good meal is your hankering,...More

The food was terrible (pici pasta with racu sauce), the white wine was not so drinkable (it was from their selection, not table wine), the bread brought at the beginning was very dry and seemed old.
2 stars for serving and atmosphere.

We read all the positive reviews and decided to try.

This was recommended by our hotel. The menu is small with just daily specials to choose from but everything we had was obviously freshly made and delicious. Reservations are a must as there are only 8 or so tables. We would definitely go back.
